Bad Reaction After Deluxe Hydrafacial??

41 year old looking for some advice. I had my first deluxe Hydrafacial on December 8th and had zero visible reactions after procedure. When leaving she told me that I may experience some peeling but it’s very unlikely and to not wash my face until the next day. On the second day I woke up and my face was extremely tight sloughing/peeling, very itchy, very shiny slightly red and purging and Stung if I even splashed water on it. The moisturizer that I am using wasn’t helping and my skin started to burn and tingle so I called the plastic surgeons office and spoke to the aesthetician who performed my procedure.

She told me that this was all normal and for me not to worry and that to just keep moisturizing. This morning I woke up which is the third day and had white bumps covering my chin my upper lip my cheeks, under my eye on the sides of my nose, most of my forehead and between my eyes. I went to wash my chin area and immediately it started to burn just by splashing water on it. My face immediately got irritated, very puffy and almost instantly little bumps just started popping up.

I called her again this morning and she told me to take Claritin and to skip face washing for a few days and to apply the after surgical procedure a balm twice a day. She also said that it all sounded OK, even though I told her it didn’t look or feel ok. I wanted to come in and have her look at it just to make sure but that didn’t happen because she was getting ready to leave town after work. I did however forward a video of my face along with six different pictures but still haven’t heard back. I’m wondering if this is some type of an allergic reaction or it could be some type of folliculitis??? The only thing I had done was the hydrafacial and Botox that day……Can somebody please help!!! I did take Claritin but nothing is relieving these awful symptoms especially the extremely intense itching. Had I known my face would’ve reacted this way I would’ve never done it. Before going in my skin texture was so beautiful and smooth. I’m just scared I ruined my skin :(
