Revision rhinoplasty, 8 months PO

CT scan post surgery

CT scan post surgery which shows a severely deviated septum to my anatomical left (green arrow) and a bony spur (purple arrow) pressing on my turbinate causing breathing problems and frequent headaches. I was born with a septum deviated to my anatomical right (so the complete opposite side) so this current deviation is iatrogenic (meaning as a result of the surgery). You would think the least a surgeon could do is straighten or keep a septum straight. Not only am I left with a really ugly nose I am also left with functional issues I never has before his surgery.

I had a revision with him too and I have what I think is a nasal wall collapse ( which was part of my original issue from first surgery). Did you find a new doctor to perform a tertiary rhinoplasty? Ive been considering going back to the same surgeon to fix the revision but I keep seeing reviews like yours and it’s honestly so scary. I’m also wondering, did you notice deformities in your table pictures right after surgery and after cast removal as well? Or did it happen months after? I thought my table pictures looked great after my cast was removed I was just super swollen but now that almost all the swelling is gone I notice the problems.
I could already see that my nose had been shaved down and I could see the dent as a shadow on my table pictures. At cast off I was shocked my front looked so wide like Avatar - absolutely no dorsal lines anymore. Of course it got worse with time. He didn’t correct anything I went to him for. He just made everything so much worse and added for deformities to my nose. He gave me functional issues, skin issues and mucosal issues that I didn’t have before. I wish I went to Erkan Solyu instead of him. But now I think even Solyu can’t help me. Please be careful with revision based on my experience he’s clearly not capable. Greedy arrogant man. I will never ever recommend this quack for revision!! Good luck!
His work is so amazing Dr erkan solyu but he quoted me 15 thousand
At that time Dr Erkan was charging the same price as this quack (12k). I didn’t know about Dr Erkan Solyu, I only found out after that he specialises in short nose revisions. You see Dr Erkan Solyu does revisions almost every day but he does 2 cases a day (1 primary and 1 revision). I knew about Saban Celebi but I didn’t really like his style - wish I chose him instead of Dr Yusuf because Saban Celebi is way more experienced and does revisions almost everyday too. I feel like now my entire nose is almost completely gone I’m so afraid - I need to pick a doctor that does one case per day because my entire nose needs to reconstructed. Thank you for your suggestion. I will look into it. Good luck to you, please learn from me, choose a doctor who does loads of revisions and revisions similar to your nose issue.
Also I know that Dr Erkan & Dr Celebi have unhappy patients but I’ve never seen them have any botches nearly as bad as mine and I do understand that revision patients will always have some issues, as long as it looks normal and is minor than for me it’s acceptable. Important is a doctor needs to make improvements not shave off what’s left of your nose and replace it with shitty grafts then blame your body’s healing for their aggressive incompetent work (that’s what happened to me with Dr Yusuf).
Did you have a consult with him? I’m so sorry this happened to you it’s so frustrating. Have you ever tried asking insurance if they might cover it since it’s functional for your breathing? The problem too is I feel as though doctors in Turkey are way more experienced
Sorry to make another comment I just came across another Turkish doctor Dr. Memet Yazar his instagram is @prof.dr.memetyazar and he has insane revision transformations on people who’s cases are on their 4th 5th I even saw 8th revision rhinoplasty. You should check his page
Have you seen the pdf of botched patients doctors? erkan solyu, Dr celebi, even the Dr I just mentioned Dr memet is on there. Right now I’m looking to go to either Dr Erdal Erkoc or Dr samet Agcayazi as I like their work and can’t find many bad reviews. On Dr Erkoc, there are bad google reviews but all about attitude not his actual work so I don’t know. They both don’t have many revisions on their page either. It’s so hard because the last thing I want is to need a 4th surgery but it’s so hard to find someone to trust. I change my mind about Dr. solyu because of what’s written on the document.
If you end up finding someone pls let me know

Bifid tip, dents

Close up of my nasal tip and just how botched I am. Bifid tip - never had one in my life before this disastrous surgery with this ‘surgeon’. This revision surgery is such a disaster. Be very careful as a revision patient with social media surgeons.
