Revision Rhinoplasty Finally Scheduled

Unfortunately, due to COVID, I was forced to postpone a revision rhinoplasty twice.
I originally paid 10k for this nose. As you can see on the photos, the implant sort of moved to the left side, making my breathing uncomfortable and making one nostril look wayyyy bigger than the other one.

I am posting this update in hopes that someone reading can go to a more qualified doctor, or at least a doctor who cares and listens to his patients. When I went, I was immediately dismissed, and again, was told my “nose looked perfect”. Moreover, my self esteem is worse than before the rhinoplasty, my nose is so incredibly droopy, and it just looks so asymmetrical. It’s also a shame that I paid so much money! My revision rhinoplasty is understandable even more expensive, because I just need a lot of work. According to the surgeon, the surgery will take 6 hours to complete.
I went to him multiple times, he showed me his previous work, updates his social media multiple times, does ULTRASONIC RHINOPLASTY, and has performed thousands of surgeries. Don’t just go to any surgeon in Naples because of the location... Look at photos, reviews, and shop around! A rhinoplasty is such an extensive and difficult surgery, that a specialist should perform.
The doctor I’m going to, only performs rhinoplasties and revision rhinoplasties. I am just really ashamed and I can’t wait for people to stop looking at my nose when they first meet me....

5 Years Post Surgery

Five years ago, I underwent my rhinoplasty in Naples, Florida.
I am posting an update because I seriously cannot breathe well. I went to see four rhinoplasty specialists and two ENT’s since I last posted my update.
I would like to mention that if you get a negative outcome from surgery, your surgeon should try to help you and guide you. I called Doctor Agarwal’s office 3 times and last time I went I was told to buy a steroid nasal spray. They also kept giving me excuses saying that it’s because I moved to a new house that I can’t breathe, that they don’t think my scar is visible at all and that my nostrils are the same size, that my nose looks beautiful. I tried expressing my concerns but they truly dismissed them.

Well, every single rhinoplasty specialist told me that my procedure would be very complicated to fix. They have to use either an ear or rib cartilage to fix my nose, that the tip is inverted and that’s why it’s pointing to one side, making my nostrils uneven. There’s a lot of scar tissue and I have thick skin, my nose is turned up very high and somehow I still have a big nose.

Doctor Patrick Murray is phenomenal doctor, and he specializes in rhinoplasties for those of you living in Naples, he’s about an hour away from Naples.
More expensive doesn’t necessarily mean better outcomes! My very complicated revision rhinoplasty will be about 11k, which is what I pretty much paid to have my first one.
One surgeon specializes in ultrasonic rhinoplasty, which is the procedure I will be undergoing.
I highly highly recommend looking at pictures of your surgeon first and asking a lot of questions.

I am fixing my nose because I am tired of people noticing my scar, but mostly because I seriously cannot breathe at all.

Awful; expensive rhinoplasty. Terrible patient care

I had my rhinoplasty at the tender age of 18.
I did my research about the surgery, and recovery process, but sadly I chose an awful doctor. Recovery was incredibly painful, which should've been a sign of the awful results to come. The results were barely noticeable, as a matter of fact, my nose is straight yes, but bigger than before. I currently have trouble breathing, one of my nostrils is proportionally larger than the other one, and I still have awful scarring from the surgery, almost 5 years later... I wish I would've gotten my surgery with a different doctor. My nose is not feminine, and it still is very bulbous. The post-op care is terrible as well.. I recently went complaining of not being able to breathe properly, and they completely ignored the fact that my nose was botched. I was told to buy a nasal spray. He saw me for five minutes, and left... They took new pictures of me, but didn't even use them when they showed me my nose "looks perfect". They also took side pictures and completely ignored the fact that my nostrils are not the same size, and that the implant has moved and migrated to my left side.
I complained a year post op, but all my comments were dismissed..
I paid 10 thousand dollars for awful patient care. If you live in Naples, I urge you to go to a different doctor.
I'm getting surgery in 6 months with a more qualified doctor. I visited 6 surgeons/ENT doctors within the past year, and they all recommended I get a revision rhinoplasty. Cosmetically speaking, my procedure looks bad, but I seriously cannot breathe. I failed to look at Doctor Agarwal's previous experience with rhinoplasties.. I figured that for 10 thousand, he must be very skilled, but boy was I wrong..
