I hope that I help other not to wait when diagnosed. Cancer only spreads, it does not go away. It keep coming back to me about the cost and it was $30, 000 but insurance covered majority of it. I am on a payment plan with the above doctors and hospital to pay $3, 000. several cancer removal procedures and 2 plus reconstruction surgeries plus hospital staff!.

Fayther's provider

Dr. Solomon & Dr. Stern

Dr. Solomon did my mohs in Aventura and she was amazing. Her staff were so caring, professional and took excellent care of me. I would only have her and her team do all future procedures- highly recommend. Then my reconstruction was done by Dr. Stern in Hollywood, Florida at Memorial hospital and he was the best of the best. His team were also fantastic and very caring. I would only have him and his staff for any future surgeries.

There is an alternative to MOHs called the SRT-100. A device that targets the cancer (non-melanoma) with a low level dose of radiation. Totally non-invasive and has a 95% cure rate.

thank you. I am doing good now. I have many more surgeries to schedule but after 8 surgeries and procedure within a 14 month period, I need time to breath and regroup. I encourage everyone NOT to procrastinate, because it only spreads with time.

My heart goes out to you. It takes incredible strength and courage to endure all that you've been through and by sharing your personal battle you're giving other cancer patients the courage to keep fighting. Thank you for sharing your photos, they tell a story and reveal the complexity of cancer.

Gracie Hope looks like the perfect nurse to have by your side, animals are so uplifting and spending time with them is truly healing. Sending you lots of hugs and positive energy your way.

Wow, you made my day! Thank you from my heart for all your kind words. Yes, Gracie and Harry (my other fur kid) are truly earth's angels. Through all the health drama, they always do something to make me laugh, and unconditional love- the best medicine. I recently filled out the paperwork and need appropriate shots, to be a volunteer on the organ transplant floor for Jackson Memorial Hospital. Not sure yet what this entails, but I know from going through it, I have a lot to offer. Will keep you posted. How are you? I pray all is good for you & if you want to vent- I'm a great listener. Warmest Blessings to you and your family.

I'm doing really well Fayther, thanks for asking! I'm a huge animal lover, and there is nothing like pet therapy. I know there are several hospitals that offer pet therapy, such as Miami Children's,  I bet that brings alot of smiles to the patients.

That's so nice of you to pay it forward by volunteering your personal time to support others,  you certainly do have alot to offer and they are lucky to have you. Please keep us updated on that, we want to hear all about it.

How sweet is Gracie Hope to help you get through all of this.  Thank you so much for sharing your story, as someone who has a long family history of skin cancer I needed to read it.  I'm so glad you are doing well.

Today I realized after initially writing the dates of my Mohs procedures and reconstruction surgeries, my memory of the dates are off by a few weeks. I started the process August 26, 2015 and finished beginning of November 2015.
