Dr. Salama BBL Retouch 4 Years Later & RECOVERY HOUSE ELITE RETREAT MIAMI - Aventura, FL

Hello ladies - this review is for my BBL revision with Dr. Salama as well as the recovery house they recently opened in November 2016.
BBL Revision Review - November 2016
I got my first BBL with Dr Salama 4 years ago in December of 2012. Let me say this procedure has changed my life in more ways than one. I did not write an original review and I wish I had some before pictures (I will look for them and post later), but he did such an amazing job on me. I was 140 lbs 5'4 at the time and was told to gain 10-15 lbs for the procedure. All in all, the first time was absolute hell from a recovery standpoint, a total journey with so many ups and downs. But in the end he worked wonders on me and gave me a dramatic hourglass figure with a full, round booty. I did get a small infection in the lower part of my Butt and had to have it cut out shortly after the procedure, so it left a small indent. Judging by the fact that I went 4 years without doing anything about it, the results were still amazing 4 years later and even with the indent the infection left. So onto the revision. Got all my blood work done and headed down to Miami. I saw dr salama the morning of the revision to discuss what I wanted. He immediately said "that's a nice size butt" when he saw me and asked me what I wanted different about it, as if to say it looked pretty damn good already so why the eff am I even there, lol. I pointed out a few small indents I wanted filled in and he recommended I add a little in the outside hip of one of my cheeks to even them out. He is as friendly as ever, although one thing I must say is that I did want to get my inner thigh lipo'Ed in addition to my upper back and flanks (I gained a little weight in those 4 years unfortunately), but he said that this is a revision so choose one or the other. I ended up choosing my sides and back as opposed to inner thighs. I think if you are considering a revision, make sure you tell the office staff well in advance exactly what you want done, as I am a little disappointed I couldn't get my inner thighs done then and there, but it was my fault I did not clarify this well in advance. They do need time to schedule out what is being done in advance. Let me just say the revision was a walk in the park compared to the first time. I was walking normal hours after surgery and did not experience a lot of pain. Coincidentally, I got my period while in Miami and those cramps hurt more than the surgery!! I was given a binder wrap around thing for my stomach area were he lipoed and no full body garment for my butt, which was sooooo much better. Also did not have any drains thank goodness!! I see a few reviews on here with girls wondering if they should consider going with salama because of burn reviews others got with him, and I'm most certainly not saying these are not true because I have no idea, but I can only speak for my experiences with dr salama and his staff. The man knows what he is doing, is THE best in the world at this surgery. I am not saying this to defend salama but he is a true expert at this procedure and I don't think it's at all fair that he has been given negative feedback. Regardless I don't think it's affected his credibility because his waiting list is hella long and people still travel from all over the world to see him. I saw these burn reviews before I decided on him for a revision, money is not an issue to me meaning I will pay whatever to achieve the results I want, and I trust him whole heartedly and therefore didn't think twice before booking him for the revision. I am now one week post opp, my butt is fuller and more even and my waist is down two inches already. I'm pretty pleased this far although the not sitting is annoying!!! Please

I am also living proof that he knows what he is doing because i literally get compliments EVERYWHERE I go...some negative feedback from jealous women but all in all my body is admired everywhere I go. No amount of exercise or diet can give the figure and fullness, projection and hips he does. He is a true artist.
Recovery house review - Elite Retreat Miami
I had a ton of anxiety about this revision: because I knew my results still looked really good and I was losing some weight, I debated doing it at all. I can remember my first procedure took at least 6 months to feel normal again, and luckily I was a student at the time or I don't know how I would have kept a job. Plus my cousin couldn't go with me last minute so I was stuck trying to find a place to stay and a nurse to help me. Then I got the Elite Retreat Miami email in my inbox, just weeks before my surgery. I immediately booked it. I wasn't too keen on the thought of having other girls I don't even know staying in the same house as me and having to feel obligated to talk to them, because let's face it it's a time where you don't want to be social and make friends, you want to recover. But everytning (food, transportation to and from the airport, appointments, etc) was all included. I also got to have a private room, which was a little extra cost but ultimately worth it. I arrived at the airport and their driver Justin picked me up. What a nice and friendly guy. So so professional. Must say a big difference from their driver I had 4 years ago, Larry. So I get to the house and it is so beautiful. Such a cute house. And big! Everytning was white and brand new, a big back yard and tons of space. I could tell
They put a lot of effort into making it comfortable and serene. I am greeted by the two nurses, Irene and her daughter Janine. They show me to my room and tell me how the meals schedule works and say there are snacks for in between. Let me just say as the week went on, I felt like I was with my family. Janine and Irene were beyond amazing and accommodating, what great people. And what great, homemade food. Ladies - please please please do not do this procedure alone - under any circumstances. And I know it is tempting to want to go with cheap accommodations, but for the price of that recovery house and the quality of everytning, you won't find better anywhere in Miami. Of the girls there that will last a lifetime. It was a great experience. -and I must say Nomie was at the house almost everyday checking on us. She truly is the mainstay of that operation at EPS, she's a text or phone call away at all times and was more than helpful. And what a banging body she has!!
