I had a cellulite treatment called “Aveli” done by a PA here in the US. It RUINED my shape. I just want to let you all know and please DO NOT do it. I did not know I may have Lipedema at the time and it is not recommended for someone who does.
Too many bands were cut during the procedure. These bands are also the structural support of your glutes. What was meant to be a two-hour procedure has turned into ten months of hell, with the Plastic Surgeon now trying to correct it. I have had lipo/bbl surgery in an attempt to help…and it has not.
When too much is cut, it can create a “diaper booty” effect. I now have one rounded cheek and one flat one. Before the procedure, other women in the office would compliment my shape—now it’s completely altered, and not for the better. I’ve developed cellulite and dimpling in areas I never had before, along with indentations.
None of this information is disclosed until it happens to you. It’s incredibly misleading. I would give anything to have never gone through with it.
