So it's been a month and it's really only been today that I felt normal again minus the lines under my eyes. No swelling now but I do wake up with fluid which I get rid of with a mix of coffee grounds and egg white, works fantastically. If anyone else is considering this be mindful that it takes time and you can have very up and down times, well that has been my experience anyway. I will update again in a month or so.

Day 11
So day 11 and I'm heading back to work. I am quite pleased with the face I'm showing today even though I know there is still some swelling to go down and this is still not the final result.

Day 8
Well bandages off and stitches out but have to wait another week for staples to come out of my head. Still swollen and feeling a bit sorry for myself yesterday.
Just want the swelling to subside a bit more before I go back to work in 3 days time. I have popped a before pic in as well this time just to see what my eyes were like.

From my perspective it's worth it but there were times during that month that I thought what the hell did I do. I thought I would be back to normal after 10 days but no I would give it a month to feel back to yourself again. My surgeon cut close to the lash line, there is a slight scar but it will dissipate over time and easily covered with makeup. I don't blame you for getting cold feet it's gets scary as it gets closer, but if you prepare and make sure when you get home you can rest up and not have to go anywhere, fill the cupboards with food make sure you have everything you need. If you have a friend who can pop by and just say hello for a while each day that will save your sanity a little. And I always said to myself give it time it's still settling in it gets better everyday. Hope this helps a little, Good luck with your procedure.
