Pain is Not Worth Enduring

Ironically, I did my research and bought I knew all there was to know about cool sculpting. I was told I would get good results. I have to wait 12 weeks to see them and its only been a week, but this past week has been agony.

Like most the comments on PAIN AND COOL SCULPTING, I only searched for the pain comments AFTER having cool sculpting done. I had 3 applicators done on my stomach a week ago. I had some bruising which I wasn't surprised about as the suction is pretty intense, the massage was after uncomfortable but bearable, but the stabbing pains and burning I have felt for the past 5 days has been excruciating and I have a high pain tolerance.

I opted for cool sculpting because after two c-sections, 6 years ago I had a mini tummy tuck and some liposuction done to get rid of the double smily face on my belly. It was a good operation and pain eased a little more each day post surgery. The bruising and swelling immediately post surgery was pretty impressive and the small holes where they put the tubes were interesting. No hiding what you had done and wearing a compression garment was uncomfortable, especially as I live in the tropics. But overall I got a good result and I feel it was worth doing.

However whilst my lower tummy was flat, I was left with a hump around my midriff that has annoyed me for years. I thought cool sculpting would be an easier and less invasive way to get rid of the hump. I did lots of research and consulted three different salons before committing to cool sculpting. Even spoke to some people who had the procedure done and they said it was uncomfortable but after a few days all was fine.

If I had known how much pain I would be in and how squidgy like my areas now feel from it, like disintergated jello like the characters out of x-men that were mutated by Magneto, I would have just done the lipsocution again, because after 7 days, I would have been well onto my way to recovery instead of suffering this stabbing spasmodic irregular pain, and not knowing when or If it will stop. And waiting 12 weeks to see if get a result acceptable to me.

Seriously folks, think twice before doing this procedure, I would never do it again. Although the liposuction looks so aggressive and bruising can be bad and pain is bad for the first few days, results I think are more guaranteed and you know that with normal healing the pain eases every day. And pain killers work for the liposuction pain, not much is working for me with this stabbing pain from the cool sculpting. Cool sculpting side effects of stabbing pain, burning, deep tissue itching, bruising, cramps, and nerve ending damage are far more common than any consultant led me to believe.

I know its irrational, but I wonder what else got frozen during the process and whether my intestines are damaged. I ache inside and out and after two c-sections, a broken legs in 2 places, a mini tummy tuck and liposuction, this pain, is one of the worst as it is intense, and random and worst 7 days post procedure than it was not he day I had it done.

Horrible procedure, and like a few others, I wish i just worked a bit harder in the gym to get rid of my hump round the middle instead of wasting my money on this.

Technician who I feel was not adequately trained and is paid on commission for selling the product and thus told me what I wanted to hear. No follow up call to see how I was post procedure, but was kind and attentive during the procedure.
