Hi all, I'm 39 years old, weigh 58kgs and have a 10 and a 12 year old. My first baby was almost 10 pounds (and I had stacked on the weight, about 20kgs ) and I could see my stomach muscles had separated while still pregnant with him. Second pregnancy I put on about 20kgs also, but this baby wasn't quite as big, almost 9 pounds.
Fast forward 8 and a half years and I'm totally over having to tuck in my belly, and being asked if I'm pregnant again! I got a referral from my Dr to see Dr Julie Lawrence in Adelaide. Yes haa, I'm eligible to be put on the public waiting list, which means I don't need to pay for it! 16 ,on the later I get a phone call to say that I have reached the top of the list and to come in for another appointment. I am told then that they can do it in 3 weeks! Was not expecting it to be so soon. I'm a teacher so I had to organise to take some time off of school, 3 weeks in total, and as it will back onto our school holidays, I will have 5 weeks in total to recover. Hopefully enough time for me to be back to almost normal.

Day 1

I didn't wake up well in recovery, I was sick from from being under and I threw up, oh my, how painful that was, I honestly thought that I'd popped something. Very scary!
I spent a couple hours in recovery waking up, don't remember much, apart from the pain of throwing up, and being scared about doing it! When I was finally able to go to the ward, I was still a bit yuck and throwing up, nice way for my hubby to see me, not! He was waiting for me for awhile, apparently I stayed in recovery for a little longer, he was waiting for ages wondering where I was.
They gave me some anti nausea meds into my drip and not long after a shot of morphine, I felt a bit better at this stage, as long as I didn't move! My head felt like I was bobbing on a boat, very dizzy with the slightest of movements.
A few hours later, I thought I'd be ok to go to the toilet. I finally sat up with the help of a nurse, and violently threw up all over the floor, myself, the chair and I think the nurses shoes :(

Day 1 was much better! No nausea, and I was able to get up and go to the toilet a few times. Not much moving going on, very sleepy.
