Well, I'm 5 weeks post op today and been back at work for the last week. Last week was really difficult because I was still in a fair bit of discomfort. Lady weekend my left breast was so swollen that I couldn't even have my arm at my side! It's all good now though. I actually feel almost back to normal now! It's been a really long road, not what I expected at all. Ice got a slight pucker on the end if the horizontal scar but hopefully that will even out.I've noticed a slight drop in my boobies, which is good. My clothes are fitting better too! Sooo happy!

More pics!
Had my dressings off yesterday, on day 19 post op. It was the first time I had seen my boobies! I'm really happy with the result although it's still early days. My PS says they will drop and soften and the nipple will move upwards as they bottom out. My nipples are very sensitive at the moment and I still have a bit if discomfort but it's definitely getting better. I go back to work next week.

Hiya you are the first person like me who has to keep the dressings on for two weeks so I can,t see what they look like. It is so frustrating. I am now 5 days post op. Pain is much better. However because I have to lie on my back the last few nights I have started to get pain in my lower back.
Glad to hear you are doing well
Looks great x

Quick question ladies!
When can I expect the swelling to start subsiding? I'm day 6 post op today and I feel more swollen than before. It feels as if I'm breastfeeding and have heaps of milk! It's really uncomfortable . Do you think anti inflammatories will help? Thanks gals

the thing to do for swelling is to take 500mg bromelian 3 - 4 times a day between meals, get it from a health food shop
It can take weeks for the swelling to go down. Stay well hydrated.
I was pretty swollen until maybe 3-4th week. I had lipo in the sides and it really seemed to damage the tissue......it might not be so long for everyone. Each of my breasts healed at totally different rates!! Looks like a huge difference for you! Congrats and hope you feel bright eyed & bushy tailed soon xxxx
