Tummy Tuck, Liposuction of Flanks and Explant 600cc's - Austin, TX

I had 600cc implants put in when I was completely flat chested and 22 years old. After having 3 kids my breasts grew two cup sizes. I had them deflated in November to see if I needed to replace them or if I could be happy with what I had left. They went back nicely so I decided not to replace them. I had surgery yesterday at 8:30am and it was a 5 hour surgery. I left the center about 4:30. They did a capsulectomy and removed my implant shells as well as liposuction of my flanks and above my butt to give definition. The doctor removed TWO POUNDS of skin!!!! I have two tummy tuck drains and two breast drains.

I was having some stinging at the incision so they gave me a Norco around 2:30 when I finally woke up and then an hour later a muscle relaxer to help with the muscle spasms. Overall once those kicked in I was probably a level 2 out of 10 on the pain scale the rest of the night. It's now 24 hours since my surgery started and I feel great! I went 8 hours inbetween pain pills last night when the recommendation is 4 to 6. I was so scared of the recovery pain and so far it has never been more than a 4. I'm sure I'll be in more pain today since the local has worn off and the aggressive flanks liposuction is starting to bruise. I highly recommend the vitamin supports they gave me which I'll find the name later as well as Exparel for the tummy tuck. I can laugh and cough lightly without much pain. I'll post some before and after once I take my first shower tomorrow. I'm so excited to see my results. As long as my results look good this was totally worth it and I feel silly for how scared I was!

I took my first shower today and got to look at my stomach. The incision is perfect and I have a real belly button. My husband was shocked at what a difference there is even with my swollen belly. My pain level hasn't been bad still so I took Tylenol for my last pain meds and I seem to be doing okay. I'm going to take the Norco at bedtime though to sleep well. This has been such an easy process, I'm amazed. My bruising is minimal.
