Day 13
So, tomorrow will be 2 weeks! I'm FINALLY beginning to feel like myself again! I am a big whiney baby and thought I pulled something where my drain was. I was having pain, so Dr. Erella took a look and decided it was time for it to come out anyway, so that was a relief AND a breeze (F.Y.I.). I had heard terrible stories about how painful it is to have drains pulled. My heart was racing, I was shaking and he said "it's out"...I was expecting "are you ready?".. I had no idea he pulled it! He says I worry too much!????...lol! I'm posting pics of me today. I'm already feeling super sexy! Oh, the tape will still be on for 2 more weeks, I put a black tank on and so now it's a lovely blackish..I swear I bathe!
Day 6
So, I'm REALLY SWOLLEN today. The pain is increasingly better. I've just taken 800 mg ibuprofen this morning and hoping that'll do the job.

Today I've taken a bit of a turn for the better! Pain is MUCH less. I can get up and down (very slowly) on my own, and I'm eating everything in sight! I've made a conscious effort to stay off my feet and keep them AND my head elevated today. It really seems to have helped with the swelling.
Something I'm noticing more than anything today is that my butt where there was lipo is still completely numb except I'm itching. It's a WEIRD sensation. It itches, but I can't tell where and can't feel when I scratch it! I have a sensation of something crawling on me. There's no worms! I checked! ????Just trying to ignore it!

Dr. Erella at Aspira Plastic Surgery is wonderful! He's very matter of fact. When I went into see him the first time he spent WELL over an hour with me explaining everything from REAL expectations, and every possibility of the things that could happen. Sadly, I over reacted about something I thought was wrong, so he drove from West Lake to meet us at St. Davids AT 3 a.m. Only to find out what I was seeing was normal. I've never met a Dr who's so attentive. He really cares about his patients.
