WORTH IT$22,000
Extremely excited and wishing surgery date was here already! I've dreamed of a tummy tuck for 19 years and after several consults over the years I finally decided it was okay to do this for myself. Although I will admit the cost does evoke guilty feelings on occasion. I then remind myself that I've opted to keep my paid off car for several more years rather than buying now. My car still looks nice and drives well so I do like my car and I despise my body.

Good luck girl! Do you have all your supplies needed for the post op recovery?

Thanks! You look amazing :-) I haven't started purchasing anything yet but just read through your posts and you have great suggestions! Protein supplements, I thought, well of course that makes complete sense, don't know why I hadn't thought about that already.

Thank you!! I had barely any swelling in my recovery so far. Very minimal and I swear I credit the protein drinks and all the veggies I ate. Recovery is not pleasant, I won't lie to you, but it is manageable with the right tools ;)

Seemed so far away and now it's shocking that it's less than 2 weeks away. Anxious to be on the flat side after 19 years! Have had some oddities though, I've been emotional (weepy) several times over the last week. My husband was in a funk I've never experienced with him. After a couple days I called him on it and requested he figure out what the problem was and why he was being cranky and annoyed with me. The next day he spoke with me about his feelings. Basically he's having a VERY hard time with the thought of me being "cut up" and in pain. He did say he doesn't want me to not get it done because he knows how much it means to me. Strange roller coaster of unexpected emotions. Feeling extra fat right now & battling a migraine the unfortunate side effect of having to stop the meds that keep my migraines at bay ...

The emotional roller coaster is so normal. My boyfriend had a difficult time with it at first but now he is obsessed with the flat tummy. Make sure you get all the items you need before surgery. I put a pretty good list on my review of stuff you should have on hand. Good luck at your pre op today!
