4 months after rhinoplasty- Austin Texas
WORTH IT
I took several pictures with my niece and nephew over the holiday weekend. Before my rhinoplasty, I would have disliked those pictures of myself. Looking at pictures now makes me happy I had the surgery.

After years of disliking my profile, I finally...
After years of disliking my profile, I finally decided to undergo a rhinoplasty to remove the dorsal hump. I liked my nose just fine from the front but I was unhappy with any picture taken of me from the side. Even though I had "my family nose", none of my relatives had as prominent of a dorsal hump, as mine. I tried to accept my nose the way it was but as I aged, it started to bother me more and more. I found myself focusing on it too much and decided to consider my options. In the past I had seen rhinoplasties online and was pretty terrified at what I saw (breaking, rasping, grafting etc.). On the other hand, I knew that if I found a surgeon that I trusted with the same vision as mine, I could be comfortable with the surgery. So here I am almost six weeks later, totally happy with the whole process. The best part is; I still look like myself! The dorsal hump is gone and I love my profile!
