Dr. Nakra was extremely thorough in discussing the asymmetrical changes that I hadn't seen before my consultation. His careful word choice made me feel extremely comfortable. It isn't easy being told that something isn't symmetrical on your face. His approach was delicate and I appreciated him being honest with what had changed and what he could do about it. Of course, he gave me the floor to discuss with him what I didn't like but honestly his expertise is what I really wanted to hear. The consultation was worth even making the first step. He explained in detail what would change, how long it would take and what the outcome would be. He was extremely helpful in answering my pre op questions in a timely manner. Everyone goes through that anxiety prior to a elective procedure and I felt comfortable that I had a physician who made me feel like I was his only patient. Surgery day was a blur, but it was honestly everything that happened after surgery that made this experience worth it. Dr. Nakra called my personal cell phone the night of surgery and the next afternoon to discuss any issues I might have. He took time out of his personal life (surgery was on a Friday) to reach out, which gave me confidence that I chose the right physician. My post op period has been great. Limited pain after surgery, swelling gone within a month and the end result is better than I expected! Friends nor family could pinpoint what had changed, but the overall consensus was positive. He made my bulbous tip defined, smaller and symmetrical - exactly what we had planned in the first consultation. I recommend Dr. Nakra to anyone thinking of having a rhinoplasty. He is truly an artist. If you can get in to see him for a consultation, it will be worth your while!
