My original rhinoplasty was done around 8 years ago. It never seemed to heal correctly. The tip was hard on one side and felt as though a small ball was stuck inside. When I smiled, my nose looked uneven. I had come to regret having anything done.
After reading reviews about Dr. Maggi, I decided to see him for a consultation. He spent a lot of time listening to me and explaining what needed to be done. With a wedding in my near future, I decided to have the revision. They were able to schedule my surgery quickly and within 3 weeks I had my pre-op appointment.
During pre-op, the nurse explained exactly what I needed to do before, the day-of, and after surgery. She also explained what would happen during surgery to a certain extent. (I didn't want to know the details.) Dr. Maggi went over my goals extensively. I left feeling prepared, informed, and confident that we were all on the same page. I had my bloodwork done that day and was ready to go.
A few days later, I had surgery, which was the Monday before Thanksgiving. Right on time, they took me back to the OR and prepped me for surgery. Before I knew it, it was over! Dr. Maggi explained that he had to completely reconstruct my nose due to the job the doctor did eight years ago.
Recovery was better than I expected. I followed all their instructions and was even able to enjoy Thanksgiving a few days later.
I'm only 2 weeks out from surgery, so my nose is still a little swollen. But, I'm extremely happy with the result.

I'm glad to hear this went well for you. Could you taste your turkey? :)
