Some before/after comparisons. As the swelling goes down, my abs are really starting to show! My breasts are still high and tight with the muscle clenched over them, but still sooo much better than before. Belly button is slowly healing and becoming an "innie" again.
Interestingly, the muscle repair has really changed the shape of my waistline. It is much more curvy now where before, it was boxy.
Prunes
These things are amazing!!! Get them!! For the first time in 10 days I've had 2 normal BMs, each within an hour after downing one of these. Colace and Dulcolax haven't helped much. And Miralax was a gross explody nightmare.
Today's photos!
Very happy with what I saw today. I'm still VERY swollen. I got my drain out and the doc wants me to get a compression garment to help with the swelling at my hips and back. They gave me scar adhesive strips to use for the next 2 months and want me to keep the earplug in the belly button as well, to maintain pressure until the swelling subsides. Also learned my breast massage techniques today and got my first "zinger" from a nerve on the outside of my left breast. Other than that and still being on full pain meds, I do have full, normal--if tender--sensation over my breasts (phew!) and my whole belly.
