Dr. Antunis first placed a heavy weight in my left eyelid so that it would close. He tried all the weights he had starting at the bottom and it was the next heaviest weight that closed my eye. Dr. Antunis told me after a time had past, I would probably need a lighter weight. During the year plus since the first surgery, I developed a lazy eye. Visiting with Dr. Antunis, he explained that he could change the implant to a lighter weight. He also explained how my nose could be repaired and also my mouth. Dr. Antunes explanations and demeanor left me with the feeling that he thought of me as a person to be made whole and not just a client he wanted to make better. In my situation there are no cons. I have only pros. I am 75 years old and in my lifetime, I have had poor doctors, good doctors and two great doctors. Dr. Marcelo Antunes is one of those great doctors.

Thanks for sharing.  Sounds like everything went well- sounds like you did the weight replacement and the nose/mouth surgery all at the same time?
