I had coolsculpting done today for the first time...

I had coolsculpting done today for the first time on my lower abs. I had 3 small cooladvantage applicators (the new 35 minute shorter treatment.) I was a little nervous because I've read many reviews describing discomfort and pain in some patients. I was quite surprised because I couldn't have been more with my treatment. Whem the applicator was first put on my abs there was some suction at the beginning and then it got really cold for 5 minutes, and then the area went completely numb. The the rest of the treatment was a total breeze. I surfed the web, checked my Facebook etc. When the treatment was over I got it my car and drive home.

It's been about 3 hours post treatment. I'm relaxing on my couch and although the treatment atea is s little numb, I feel completely normal. (I really hope it stays that way.) The nurse that treated me said if I have any pain or discomfort they would can call in a RX for pain. Otherwise Advil or Aleve should be okay minor aches.

Now for my provider! Lisa Damante NP at Dr Hall Rejuvenation in Austin TX couldn't have been more wonderful! She treated me like a queen every step of the way and made sure that I was perfectly comfortable during the whole treatment. Thank you Lisa!

One week update

Hi all, it has been exactly one week from my treatment. Obviously I don't see any results yet. But I would like to share with you what I have been experiencing during this first week. The first few days I was pretty swollen, like 3-4 moths pregnant swollen! I wore a compression garmen around the clock and that helped tremendously. It not only hides the bulge but also make you feel really comfy. I haven't experienced any pain like others have stated. Not sure if I'll experience delayed pain?? I am still very numb, but it's going away by the day. I would say I'm still about 60 percent numb in the treatment area.

I have lost 1 pound so far (current weight 137) and will continue to eat really healthy and lose about another 6-8 lbs in the near future. I will keep you posted. It's very important to keep yourself in shape during this transition as it is essential to successful results. I read that this treatment is for individuals that are within 10-15 lbs of their ideal weight. So just keep that in mind y'all.

I will update again in 1 week. Thanks to everyone else for their reviews as well as they have helped me tremendously!?
