Hanging out, healing well

Ok, so I did not expect to feel like a million bucks by now, but recovering from the surgery is tough. I have followed all instructions carefully, and I suppose I'm doing as well as can be expected. Lots of emotions going as the body heals. And questioning are my boobs too big, my but feels ginormous, and the swelling from the lipo has me feeling like I'm walking around in a fat suit. My body feels foreign. Each day the swelling is getting better, however thinking about getting dressed to leave the house is terrifying. Had no idea the mount of emotions you experience immediately post surgery. The other part is the actual physical healing pain and discomfort. It turned out the intense urges to pee and the feeling of not ever having an empty bladder is because I have a UTI. Called my doc, and they prescribed something that was not necessarily going to take care of it. Now facing another medication to knock it out, testing to determine what medicine to take tomorrow. If there is anything I've learned as I am going along is to communicate with the doc regularly. I've probably had this UTI since the day of surgery. Today one of my incisions bled spontaneously, forgot to mention this to doc to see if it's normal. It's on the breast nipple that is giving me the most discomfort. The journey to healing continues. The good news that I got of the Norco on Monday, just three days post op. Only thing Tylenol as needed.

Post-Op update

So I am on day 3 post op. My current weight and height are 5.7 and 122 lbs. I have 2 children that I breastfed for 1.5 years each. I had a breast lift with implants, 286 cc's. Also had lipo on inner and outer thighs, flanks, lower abdomen, upper abdomen, bra line, under the arm, and then he injected the fat into my butt. I was going to have butt implants at a later date as I didn't have too much fat to actually graft. We decided the morning of the surgery to give it a go. That's when it got exciting! I have always had great sized boobs, so putting them back was not exciting. I have worn a 36c bra that I did not fill completely after breast feeding my children. When the doc examined me pre-op, he said they were a B cup at best. I told him I did not want to be too large, I really just wanted a full C. Happy with the result so far. They look very full (swollen), and if this is as big as they get, I am pleased with it. My worry was that I would wake up to ginormous boobs. The surgery lasted 6 hours. Yesterday was pretty painful as I have to lie on my back with my butt floated to not put pressure on it. Recovering from lipo is certainly much harder than I thought it would be. All in all, happy with everything thus far.

Tis the night before my surgery, and I am perusing...

Tis the night before my surgery, and I am perusing breast lifts with implants on this site and others. Still wondering about size, but my doc will make the final decision in the OR tomorrow. Nervous that they will be too big........... Safe Lipo will also be performed on different parts of my body.
