I did a little shopping around for a plastic surgeon. Breast augmentation is something I have been considering since I turned 18. It was never an option financially for me. After I graduated college and began my career, I decided I was in the right place to have such a procedure. I live in San Marcos, and I found may qualified doctors in the San Antonio and Austin area, with several different price options. I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". I found surgeons wiling to do the procedure for $4,600. But I do not suggest cheaping-out when it comes to your body or health.
Dr. Reid was my first and only consultation. I had done enough online research, so when I had my consult with Dr. Reid, I knew I wanted him to preform my procedure. He is very committed and so is his staff. I wanted to see a picture example of a healed scar from his previous work. I got more than that. His assistant was a patient of his 5 years ago, and she showed me HER scar. Everyone at the office was nice and friendly, and Dr. Reid and his assistants answered all of my questions (via email) promptly. He knows what he is doing and his experience is evident. Dr. Reid is not willing to bend the standard of care he gives to each patient simply to make the procedure "cheaper". I am 4 days post-op and I feel great. My breast are changing slowly but look great so far! I would definitely suggest Dr. Reid to my family and friends! If you want a procedure done, and are willing to pay for it to be done RIGHT, then Dr. Reid is the way to go. My trust was not misplaced and I am beyond excited to see the final result in 2-3 months!
