After an Autoimmune Diagnosis They Just Aren't Worth the Risk. - Austin, TX

I was diagnosed with lupus mid September and immediately knew I wanted my implants removed. The most painful part is the capsulectomy. I can feel underneath my muscle and it is painful. I'm also really struggling with nausea. I can't wait for that to go away. I'm excited and nervous to see the doctor on Monday. I have a harder spot under my right areola and I'm hoping it's normal. Even though I'm in pain I am so happy with my decision. I'm 3 days post op and I'm starting to feel good...
I haven't told anyone at work what all I had done, but I think it's pretty noticeable that my boobs are significantly smaller. My doctor told me to only wear the compression bra until I hit 2 weeks. I'll look forward to wearing normal bras, but I'll have to figure out away until then to make it not so obvious. I'm curious how much cup size I can expect to lose. I'm guessing I'm about a full B right now. I hope I can stay this size, but I'm sure a lot of my size is due to swelling.
