Today leaves only two weeks until my procedure!!! I am ex-ci-ted!! I am 34 years old, 131 lbs, 5'9". Im a wife, and mother of 2 boys, ages 14 and 12. I have wanted to "fix" my breast for years and i am finally closing in on that happening. I have a grest body, just my breast have lost volume and i have asymmetry. I plan to go with saline implants and 420-450cc. My pre-op is Tuesday, the 14th! I CAN'T WAIT!

I will be checking in on you! I go in on Friday. Been a total spaz this week. Cleaning my kids rooms washing every linen and pillow case in the house. Getting everything all prepped. When is your surgery??

I report at 7 am!! Friday morning! I've been cleaning like a freak too! Lol and taught the hubs how to put in a ponytail ;-)

I've added before pics today. I report tomorrow morning at 7 am!! My ps is an hour away so I'll be up super early, which is okay since I could barely sleep last night anyway! I'm excited but nervous too. I just can't wait to see my new girls!!! Any last minute advice is always welcomed!! :-)

I just had mine done 4 days ago at Restora with Dr reid, in Austin TX.
My advice to you is, keep positive thoughts going in your head! And definitely let your family/friends help you every time you need it. My boyfriend was a lifesaver took me to the appointment stay there drove me home spend the night and take care of me the next day he was seriously the biggest blessing ever.
I would also recommend to keep up with your pain pills and muscle relaxer you might feel like you don't need it but it'll start to hit you and you don't want it to be too late. Good luck!!!

Surgery went great! I arrived with a sense of peace and hopefulness. I gave the hubs a kiss and literally work up on my deive home. Been napping and waking to eat pineapple and drink. Headed back to rest some more! Other than feeling tight, and getting the shivers when I try to get up its not anything like the horror I was expecting! Hopefully tomorrow will be the same.

Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing your progress in the next few weeks! Can I ask why you chose saline? I'm on the fence and leaning toward saline and would love to hear your thoughts! Thank you and congrats again!

I actually switched to silicone at my preop last week. I wanted saline becase of my asymmetry however my hubs went with me a he saw several benefits to getting silicone. 1. No valve. He says valves is all things (cars, dispensers, pumps) all eventually need maintenance and stand a chance of failing. 2. The bag itself. He said when the bag of the saline is made it is gathered.. (so it can house the valve) and that gathering would be a place that over time with movement could expirence wear from movement. Silicone is a continuous piece of plastic, no gathering. And lastly 3. He says the saline sitting in the north part of my implant could probably cause erosion of the internal bag with time. So he was more comfortable with the quality of silicon. Now my concern of asymmetry was brought up and the PS informed me theres about 1 oz difference in between sizes of silicone. So he agreed to put the one silicone in I wanted, then use a sizer in the OR to see how many cc's I'd need in the other breast yo appear even, then he'd use that size silicone implant on that size. But today when he got in there and the implant was in he said the breast tissue is also on each breast so he didnt have yo even us diff sizes. The extra tissue on that smaller breast helped out!

Congrats on your procedure!!I'm glad it went smoother than you expected. I have experienced a ton more pain but it's because of the galaflex my Dr put in. I still don't regret it! Looking forward to reading about your recovery process.

How are you feeling? I'm in so much pain. When I get up to go to the bathroom I get crazy shooting pains. Are you experiencing anything like that?

I am currently in the most pain now. For about the last 3 hours, im swelling and stiff. My left breast has had some pain in it and im bruised pretty bad in the bra line on that side of my body. Also it seems like i have fliud that has drained down to the sides of my belly (oblique area) and has made the skin very tender to the touch. Are you using your arms to get u up? When i did it was bad. So ive since put a pillow behind my back so i am closer to the edge to get up. As long as i sit with my arms extender like an airplane the spasms are very mild, and not even consistent. Its just when i sleep and forget to stay in that position that they start again. Also if i get chilled that messes me all up!!

I have tried to stop using my arms for anything. Even pulling my pants up and down. My hubs and friends have helped. Hopefully the pain will get better from here on out. I had a little drainage but it stopped last night. An hour before my pain meds are due I'm counting down. I'm hoping to start to wean off them tomorrow and hopefully get some sleep tonight. I'll check back in with you tomorrow. I hope you feel better!

Im taking mine every 4 hrs. I didn't take the like that earlier cuz i thought i was feeling good and i guess it all snuck up on. Im going to keep on them so my body doesn't have to go thru that shock agian. Try to get some rest and ill talk to you soon!! Hang in there!

Moderate smooth round and they are 520cc silicone. They are actually bigger than i thought theyd be but maybe because Ive had no shape there for so long?!? If that makes sense. But I REALLY like them!! :-)
