I am active duty military, and I have a 5 year old son. After giving birth I lost the shape/size in my breast and had been unhappy. I was still deployed when I first made contact with Dr. Maggi office and I must say his staff is great! The answered emails so quick and all my questions. Once I returned I had my consultation in December. Where I met Kathy & Dr. Maggi. They both were so helpful and so knowledgeable about breast augmentation. I felt so comfortable my appointment wasn't rushed & I wasn't pressured into making a decision right there on the spot. I got my surgery done in Feb & I am still in the healing process but I am totally satisfied with Dr. Maggi work.

more about the surgery
Pre surgery I was a 34A. I chose silicon gel implants for a more natural look, I went with 397cc which will put me at a full C cup. I didn't wanna go any bigger because of my body type I'm 5'7 1/2 and about 136 with a fit/athletic body. My biggest fear with getting the implants was getting put under anesthesia this was my first time going under. But Dr. Maggi and his staff made sure I would be fine. Day of surgery I had to be at the Austin plastic surgery center at 6:45am. The procedure itself was about 45 mins long, I had my incision made underneath the breast, and underneath the muscle. I do plan on having another child in the future and would like to breastfeed, so Dr. Maggi explained to me that placement and incison would be best for me. So after waking up from surgery first thing I wanted to do was touch my breast lol. I wasn't in any pain and I'm still not in pain, its more of soreness it feels like I did 200 push ups so not bad at all for me. I was expecting it to be worse honestly. For medicines in was prescribed Tylenol 4's with codine to be taken 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours I've only taken 2 so far and this is day 2 of recovering. I was also giving an antibiotic to take for 7 days & nausea meds just in case but I haven't had to take those I haven't had a reaction to the anesthesia. I go in on Monday for my first post op appointment and I'll be sure to add a update to this review.
