It's official... scheduled my bbl today for May 17. I'm nervous as heck but glad I found the courage to do this. I've read so many reviews on this site and I will definitely keep you guys posted about the good, the bad and the ugly of my journey for those who are still undecided. Hopefully more good than anything else. It's taken me at least 2 years to finally commit to do it. I've gained a lot of weight since the summer so my first goal is to get at least 30 pounds off before this procedure. I'm super uncomfortable with these extra pounds and want the recovery to go as smooth as possible. Seems like a lot of weight but Dr.franco said he would still be able to get at least 1000cc ( if not more) in each side still.
Soooo, the journey begins...

Right around the corner

Wow does time fly! Surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday...less than one week away ????I have already purchased several items recommended on this site( tried not to go overboard but just got the basics). Airfare ?? Hotel ?? Car rental ?? All taken care of. Had the lab work done last week. I have a girlfriend traveling with me who is a nurse practitioner so I know I'm in good hands. A little nervous about not sitting for several weeks and how I plan to disguise this ???? at work lol. I will post before and after pics for sure for those browsing this site trying to decide if you should or shouldn't do this like I was doing a few years ago. Other than that. I'm super excited and ready to get this behind me... no pun intended????

It's Done!!!

Hey ladies! Thank you for the prayers and well wishes. I'm officially Ms New Booty????. Procedure was at 7am today. From what I can tell thus far Dr. Franco did an awesome job. He was straight forward with what I could expect based on my body type. I wanted at least 1300 cc's but he said might not be the case since I had no butt at all ( I'll have before pics next week that I'll receive from their office to show you).
The first thing I experienced when I woke in recovery was the nausea... it was bad. Then came the pain but they gave me pain meds immediately and I was okay. The drive back to the hotel was tolerable. I been taking pain meds about every 4 hours. Nausea is under control with the patch which last for a duration of 3 days. I'm soaking through pads while laying pretty bad but he said that was expected. I could not find chux pads so I purchased puppy pads which have worked out great. Pain is probably 5/10 while laying and 9/10 when standing. I'm already moving around ... slowly. Going to the restroom is a challenge. I purchased the pez from Amazon and I sit backwards on the toilet which helps. Oh! He removed about 5 liters and got 1100cc's to each cheek.
