I'd love to share my experience with those looking to have the procedure done so here I am. So far I'm slightly nervous, but mostly anxious about the results. Fat is being harvested from my upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles and flanks. I'm not sure all my questions were answered, but I hope to address them today before surgery.

I've never been so uncomfortable with my body. Read his Google reviews and reviews shown as not recommended on yelp. They're newer reviews that weren't present when I had my surgery. Had I seen them at the time, I NEVER would've allowed myself to be scammed out of almost 5K.

Also, I noticed all the recent good reviews on here don't describe the process, experience or photos which I find odd. Almost as though the accounts were made to help his reviews.

Who did you decide on?

Me? No one yet. I'm still trying to work on my issues with Dr. Broder. I asked my dermatologist (who I adore and Trust) if she had any plastic surgeon friends she would recommend, and she recommended both Dr. Kerr and Dr. Franco. So, it looks like I narrowed it down to two good potential surgeons!

I wish all the negative reviews about dr. Broder on Yelp and Google would come and share their experience on realself as well. The stories need to be heard. They're pretty similar.

I made an appointment with Dr Franco I'm going to do 2 surgeries with him on July 30 I'll let you know how it goes if by that time you still haven't decided who to go with :) I'm very scared mostly about the pain after surgery

Yes! Please keep us updated. I've heard great things about him. Don't be scared! For me personally, the worst pain was during the actual surgery. But then again, my whole situation was a complete traumatic nightmare!

I can't wait to see your results!

The Procedure!

Oh my Goodness! It was the most painful experience of my life. I prefer to work out 5 babies back to back with no epidural before reliving that experience. I was told by many that most patient sleep during the procedure. I wish I was one of those people. For whatever reason, the lidocaine what's not doing its job. I was literally holding the nurse's hand while crying. The doctor kept reinserting the tubes for more lidocaine, but it just wasn't working. Traumatized is the only word I can use to describe the experience. Eventually at one point the doctor and I had to work together. He would let me know he was getting ready to go back in and I would just hold a breathe in preparation for it.
The recovery process hasn't been so pleasant either. I'm a week out and finally mobile.

I have no idea! It was the most traumatizing experience of my life. I literally told my fiance and mother to watch out for me just in case I had a cardiovascular response to the trauma.

Also, per legitimate experienced plastic surgeons, it's very unlikely that I would have ever achieved the results he promised with this method of numbing. Additionally, this method leaves scars in visible areas. Dr. Broder should've mentioned this.

I've had a bad experience with surgery but it was upon awakening from vaginoplasty, labiaplasty, and perineal muscle repair. I woke up in such horrible pain because the doctor accidentally cut the tip of my clitoris with his scalpel. The nurses at the hospital then proceeded to treat me like a drug addict because they thought I was making up the pain I was in to get more IV pain killer administered. I honestly think the whole thing has caused me to have a sort of PTSD surrounding surgery. I'm so sorry for what you went through and then after that to still not have the outcome you expected is awful. That was the only thing the kept me from giving that doctor the worst review, my result turned out beautiful. Without that though I would have felt so angry and defiantly would have probably sued him.

So, this procedure definitely requires patience! About 2 to 3 days later I could see that my hips were thinner, but my overall depth/ circumference measurement was much wider. I was about 11 pounds up on the scale. My body continues to change daily. Some days I'm more swollen than others. The stomach bruising and swelling was pretty much non existent until day 6 or so and is still present. I'm still very swollen as expected. As of yet, I don't see a huge difference in the shape of my body or the buttocks. My body shape still appears quite box shaped. Again, it's a slow process and I'm trying my best to be patient as the process takes it's course.
