After I had my first child I went from a 34D to a 34DDD and fitting into clothes just became a lot harder. I'm 5'7" 150 lbs and I was buying clothes larger than necessary because my breasts just became gaudy and indecent. I also was referred to a physical therapist for numbness in my hands and fingers as well as back pain. With my physical therapists help and a great plastic surgeon, my journey to smaller breasts was mostly paid for by my insurance. I'm currently three days post-op and already loving the shape and ability to button up shirts in a size SMALL! Most of my soreness is on the sides of my ribs where some lipo was performed and my breasts are just itchy with some mild spasms. All of this was made clear to me by my wonderful, down to earth doc, Dr. Steven Holzman. I felt very confident with his work as I've done tons of research on every kind of breast reduction option. My surgery went so well, I didn't even need drains! I'm so happy, maybe a bit loopy as well, that I finally had this surgery.

Some bloating in the belly, and still painful on the sides, but the breasts are pretty painless. I'm able to lift arms above my head and move around.

Feeling pretty good. The liposuction on the bra line is still sore and pretty swollen. I got to take my first shower last night and finally my new breasts were revealed to me aka my nipples! One is a little wonky, but after closer inspection it looks like its because of the suture and should round itself out. I went out the house today and picked up some crafting supplies at Michael's to keep me busy and just working on not trying to do to much! Currently taking Norco at night and Soma in the am, arnica topical and arnica "pellets".

I cannot believe how good you look already! It's seriously amazing. It's such a difference, isn't it? And you put it so well-breasts at a certain size become gaudy. Like, wearing normal clothing makes it seem like you're working at accentuating your breasts-even when you're trying to downplay them. I couldn't wear things I liked because it looked indecent. The same things now look perfectly normal. What a difference smaller breasts can make!

Hello:)
Why is it that our breasts have to become so out of control after birth, Ugh!
How are you feeling today? It sounds like you are having a very smooth recovery so far.
LOL..darn puppies. The lipo areas were what hurt the most for me as well. They burn badly for a long time. Between the burning and the solution oozing out of me the first week it drove me nuts.
I vote for more napping.
