I am 7 weeks post surgery now. I have noticed that my skin is continuing to tighten up. I am glad I didn't have the lift procedure at this point. I feel like I am back to my natural self now. Implants are almost a distant memory. Good luck to everyone contemplating having their implants removed!

Unfortunately, my PS didn't remove the drains when I went to my post-op appointment yesterday. He said that the output is still too high according to the drain logs I have been keeping. I will have to wait until Saturday. I actually don't mind if it is the safer way to go. He was worried that I would develop a seroma if they were pulled to early. Apparently when you have capsulectomies the drainage output is higher since there has been more trauma to the tissue. I am feeling great and loving the way I look in clothes now. Once the drains are out, I will finally be able to start working out again. It will be so nice to be able to jog again if I want. I will post some new pics soon since tomorrow will be 1 week post explant.

Hello, I have very similar breast i went from a C to a 34 DDD and reading your post just made me decide that I can take these suckers out!

Well, it's been 4 days since my surgery. I am supposed to get my drains taken out tomorrow at my post-op appointment. I can already tell that my breasts are starting to firm up a bit! I have been told to wait at least 6 months to see how well the skin will tighten up. So far, so good!

Thank you for replying to my querie Ready2Bnatural regarding the capsules removing. I too think i may be able to feel the scar tissue afterwards and am pretty sure i am going to go for capsules out .Got to see the surgeon on in 3 days and tell him my decision and the have op week today!! Thank you for sharing you story and your pics look great and hope you are healing well and the drains out wasnt too sore.Adjan
