Life as a new (boobied) woman!
WORTH IT$8,000
It's been a year & 3 months since my surgery and I'm happier than ever!! I'm so glad I went through w/ my surgery. I workout 4 times a week bc I CAN w/o any pain, no more double sports bras to keep the tatas down. I've never felt so confident in my entire life. Im so happy with my results and my new outlook and attitude on life. I'm always happy, & I feel like I finally stepped out of a very dark shadow that was weighing me down in life...literally!

7 months after surgery
So it's been 7 months since my wonderful breast reduction and I couldn't be happier!! I'm so much more active now, because my back doesnt hurt constantly and I love the way clothes fit me now: ) I've also noticed I've been able to sleep more throughout the night. If anybody is having second thoughtsplease contact me. This ssurgery was such a blessing, and I'd never have it any other way.

I've tried silicone sheets and I just bought paper tape. The silicone sheets SUCK at stockin after a week and I woke up w/ paper tape all over my body besides my scars. I'm really trying to take care of my insicions but nothing is sticking :( what have y'all used?? Any suggestions?

It sounds odd that the paper tape wouldn't stay put. When I used it it it was really hard to get off, changing tapes would take up to an hour. It's important that the skin is dry before you put it on, and that there are no traces of moisturiser on the area to be covered. Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to the tape, and had to stop wearing it. I am now using rosehip oil and vitamin E cream. It seems to work well. The scars seems to have faded a little. I've also bought some silicone gel that I'll try later on.

Wow! Your results look beautiful! I am short like you (5"3) but a good bit heavier. I'm still waiting to hear back from my insurance provider to find out if my surgery is covered but you have made me want to work out more to try and get in better shape before the surgery. I can only hope my results turn out as amazing as yours!

It is weird that the papertape isn't adhering. I use 3M Micropore tape. It's about 1 inch thick and a dark tan colour. I've been taping all the way through and am just short of 12 weeks post-op. I highly recommend the tape as my scars are very flat and thin. You do have to make sure, as NannyOgg said, that your skin is completely dry and free of any moisturiser before taping up. If you are going to try again, I would say take a shower and then make sure your skin is completely dry (don't put any moisturiser on your boobs or near them), then apply the tape. It should stay on for at least 7 - 10 days before it starts to peel around the edges. I don't use anything else, just the tape. Hope this helps. Good luck :)
