6 Weeks

It's been about six weeks and I still don't see a change and I am not any smaller in the waist. All of my pants fit the same and without my Spanx on I still have a muffin top. I do look smoother with the Spanx but that probably would have been true before, too. Hopefully I am still just very swollen. It is very discouraging but I have no choice but to trust everyone who says it takes 3-6 months to see results.

Day 10 Update
immlabNovember 28, 2018
Bruising is almost gone, and I now have some firm lumps under the skin that I need to massage, but since I am still sore I haven't done much of that. The doctor said to wear the outer elastic wrap compression garment 12 hours a day but still the under part 24/7. I am supposed to replace the Hydro Seal bandaids soon with new ones so they don't dry out. I am starting to feel more positive about the procedure but I am still the same waist measurement and about 3 pounds up from my pre-surgery weight.

Day 7 Side View
immlabNovember 27, 2018
Day 7 side view, I forgot to add this photo earlier. I'm still swollen but I think looking flatter overall. This review is too short so I apparently have to add some more characters. Pain level is basically zero at this point but I still feel sore if I press on my skin.

Hi there! I can definitely see a difference in you.
I’m same age as you, had smart lipo too and at 7 days, I still couldn’t see much difference due to a lot of swelling. From about the 10-14 day point forward it was awesome though, I felt like I saw good reduction in swelling at that point. Everyone’s different. I worked out a lot starting after about a week, so that helped a lot.
I’m at two months now. I had a small volume taken out like you did (mine was about 900 cc total aspirate, 500 of which appeared to be fat, the rest was tumescent fluid/blood.) did you see the canister to see how much was total aspirate vs total fat?
it’s hard to compare with others, but I wondered the same thing about total volume too.
good luck keep us updated :)

Thank you!! I think I can see a difference but honestly it is discouraging that I am bigger and weigh more than before. I don't fit into any of my jeans comfortably, I am just living in leggings and PJs. But I think the shape will be better when the swelling all goes down. She said because the fat was fibrous and stubborn there is more swelling. It was 400cc of fat, 650cc total fluid. I went in for my postop today and she said everything looked good so I am hopeful that it will be worth it. Thanks for the encouragement!

Oh girl I know that leggings PJ feeling, I felt like a stuffed pig during that swollen time frame and did not really wear anything else. Even my calves felt fat.
Oh yeah, I did hear doctors say that before in other posts that when the fat is really fibrous it can affect how much they can get out.
Well I’m sure you’ll feel better in weeks to come when you drop most of that extra water weight!!
