I love how detailed your review is!! Definitely helpful. Do you feel like you should’ve taken more, in hindsight? It looks great, and you already had a nice smile to begin with, so now it’s a double win xx
Hi there. Just saw your profile pop up on RealSelf. How’s the lip lift holding up??
Queen, how are lips doing now? I live in Austin too and I’ve been wanting to get this procedure done for years. Years, I tell you! How you’re doing well!!

100 days post procedure and even more obsessed

exactly 100 days post procedure and even more obsessed
yeah so... the title says it all lol.
the color of the scar is fading/is looking more and more like the other skin faster every day. it is flattening in the same way and everything looks awesome. i’m using a bb cream i got on amazon and i LOVE with 30spf. i still use aquaphor at home but not as much or as frequently. i feel it helps. for a month now i have been using PCA Skin Retinol- it has done an AMAZING job getting rid of the spots from picking at zits and not wearing sunscreen in the past. though- it is $125ish and imo overpriced; i will be purchasing the retinol brand one for like $15 after this to try it out.
tbh i am in awe at how perfect it turned out. any scarring i am left with (i can tell it will be almost diminished in another 3 months) is just a result of my physiology and laughing too much at the beginning lollll.
dr. saxon must be a psychic /and/ an excellent plastic surgeon; idk how she knew it would continue to look better and better as time went on LOL.
on tuesday i had a third and final job interview with a pretty fancy firm- i wasn’t concerned or self conscious about the incision site at all. and i seriously felt so confident when talking whereas before, i hated how i looked when speaking. hopefully that will translate into the start of my career hehe.
anywho here is my fabulous face since i am sooooo happy with how i look now :3

It IS fabulous!! And when you're happy that comes through too. But structurally you look wonderful - natural, I guess is a good description and the oft-used "well-balanced". I've really learned a lot reading through your posts - thanks so much for sharing. January 15 is my surgery and I will post asap. Fingers crossed for you about your job. The not liking what you look like when speaking (ever videoed yourself talking before this procedure? I have....) hit home with me. Particularly with aging for me, I think, I feel like my top lip has been in the ***@@%% way, especially with certain sounds like "f", "v". So no unreasonable expectations, but I hope that will improve!
OH GOD VIDEOS D: D: D: though the worst for me was candid pictures... being in the middle of saying something and having my picture taken *shudder* LOL. i toooootally get you my friend. thank you for the well-wishes, too.

i know what you mean by well-balanced and i absolutely agree- i guess there's a reason it's used so much to describe successful surgeries like this! you are so welcome for posting- it helps that i'm quite vain, but now even moreso. i legit take like 10+ pictures of myself almost every day lol. like, i may or may not have an almost 400 picture album on my phone....

SUPER EXCITED FOR YOU DUDE!!!!! it's awesome seeing other people- it's so satisfying to share the feelings we have, if that makes sense. it's even more exciting to see people who have been following others and then having the procedure. i can't wait to see your results!!!!!
when i said i take 10+ pictures/have an album of 400 pictures i meant of my lips. LOL
Great result!! I am only 4 weeks mark. Incision is still reed and still have swelling. Looking forward to 3 months!! Thank you for sharing
just be patient. it's really hard i know!! keep a positive attitude and it'll be here sooner than it seems. sooo worth it and you will be so happy. the fading speeds up exponentially after the first 2.5 months (at least for me)
Thanks for the support, babe. I know what you mean about 400 pictures of your lips. I deleted a lot of my pictures, because I was worried if I got hit by a bus and somebody saw the pictures on my phone ......lol i’ll bet we all do that, though. Thanks again.
Wow...there’s so much WOW... the lips and the skin. What a beautiful transformation on both! You are totally a new and improved woman! Hold your head up HIGH,you’ve got it going on!!!!!
Good luck with the prospective job. Fingers and toes crossed that you’ll get this position!!!!!
Hands down the best LL result I've seen. You already had really nicely shaped lips. How's the scar looking now? Would be super helpful if you posted a pic with the rear camera with the flash on of the scar but just gotta thank you for writing this review. I was starting to think it wouldn't be worth it but you just might have changed my mind. Hope the new jobs sweet

day 68 tooth show pictures

for whatever reason the realself app forces the actual photo to zoom in and thus does not show the entire collage so here’s the next best thing lol.

note the *impeccable* precision in which my mouth shape was maintained. her skill is crazy!
Loving that pretty tooth show!!!! Your shape of your lips are just perfect!
thanks so much you really are the sweetest. what procedure are you doing on the 16th? excited for you!!!!!
Hi sweetie! I’m doing a temporal brow lift. I had this procedure done before, but now time for a revision. It’s a battle fighting Mother Nature. I’m not giving in....ever!! Xoxo
is that to lift eyelid droop? i kind of have that but i have hooded eyes anyway. dr. saxon mentioned botox is a possible solution but we haven’t discussed it other than in passing. i feel like i might want to do the under eye/tear troughs instead though bc i’ve been noticing it even before i has my first ever procedure (lip fillers).
Yes, it lifts my droopy eyelids, and gives my forehead a more refreshed look. You definitely don’t need it, you’re a baby!! I’m a fossil. Try Botox...a heck of a lot cheaper!
re: mother nature— i finally understand what people meant when they said being 35, 40, 50, 60 is a trip bc they still feel too young to be that age. i’m 33 and literally can’t believe how true that is!! and i have a long way to go yet. i am actually a biosociologist and age /truly/ is a societal construct lol!
Ohh my...you’re a genius! And a young one, at that. I seriously feel and act like a 30 year old. Too bad the face can’t adjust to my mental being!
that before though!!!! ahhhhhh my philtrum (to quote the beautiful ransrvr) was OUT OF CONTROL!!! lmao
Dang girl, my philtrum entered a room way before I did. Not pretty!! But....it’s all history now! We are “shorter philtrum sisters”! Lol
oh my god i LOL irl. the truth though!!!
Yep! Thank goodness to whoever invented the Lip Lift. Amen!!
I love your result! So pretty on you! Did your PS recommend any scar creams to use at all or just aquaphor? I am wondering whether I should go back to aquaphor / Vaseline for tightness...
Sorry to budge in on your conversation... did you try Biocorneum?? It’s the bomb.com!! Lol. Lol.
oh, i meant for my comment to be a reply to yours :)
i haven't used any scar creams. i am still aquaphor-ing daily and it definitely helps. there's really no reason not to if you think it will help- it won't hurt or mess anything up. any scar will heal more precisely with less tension so any way you can ease that is ideal. tldr i recommend vaseline/aquaphor, yes. re: scar creams- i asked her about biocorneum and other stuff. she said she wasnt familiar with that product but she believes the reason why most people like it so much is because one tends to begin using it around the time your scar/incision site is really, really healing (if that makes sense). i got some retinol cream from her- PCA Skin 1% something or other- it was expensive af ($100) but you can get it a bit cheaper elsewhere on the internet. it has helped TREMENDOUSLY with unrelated minor scars from blemishes i picked at, etc. it encourages cell regeneration/"fresh" skin growth so it helps with the scar as well. i do mix aquaphor and zinc sunscreen together during the day to prevent a colored scar (as opposed to just a skin-colored line). and thank you sooooo much for the compliment
I seriously had remarkably great results with Biocorneum. It sped up my healing, and lessened the redness of my scar
