Can any body tell me if they use any natural remedies for swelling or pain that has work for youll.

Bromelain is supposed to be good for swelling. It's found naturally in foods like pineapple but you can also buy bromelain supplements.

The only thing that helped my swelling was elevating my feet, rest, drinking plenty of fluids and ice packs. I had very minimal bruising so that was never an issue for me. I was only blessed with the SWELL HELL!

I took bromelain and arnica Montana starting 4 days before through 4 days after surgery. They were for swelling and bruising. Not sure what it would have been like without them, but my swelling and bruising have been manageable.
As for natural pain meds- never heard about that and I doubt they'd work for me. I need the strong stuff!

Thanks. Im very pleased and frankly, still cant believe it when i look in the mirror
Yes all your roller coaster of feelings are normal! Do you have an early surgery? If not, try some yoga or something soothing in the morning. I became strangely calm that morning.
Then when you get there you're just too busy witht the nurses, etc getting prepped to even think about it. Next thing you know you're under a warm blanket, drugs flow and you wake up skinny!
