Zac is an exceptional surgeon. I really trust him and felt in very good hands the whole time. He listens, is sensitive, respectful, honest and kind. His work is meticulous and precise. He has an eye for a very natural look and doesn't recommend extra unnecessary work. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top quality plastic surgeon in NZ. I think he's one of the best. Thanks Zac, you have changed my life. I'm so happy:)

Out of curiosity, how do you find the BL scars? I know for 100% I'll need a BL as well, but I'm concerned about the vertical scarring :/

The scar are definitely there..no getting around that. And they do fade, particularly for me, they are less noticeable every month. I am a year out now. I would think by 2yrs they will be all white and less noticeable. Regardless the trade off for WAY better shape, uplift, feel, movement...in everyway for me it has been enormously worth the pay off of the scars. the breast wasn't even my main focus originally but I have been so completely thrilled with the results of my breasts I highly recommend a BL. With a good surgeon of course :)

Just a quick few photos at the nearly 6mth mark (10days off 6mths).

I got the turquoise bikini today for $20 and it completely covers my scars. I think the scars are all fading away very nicely and I really am extremely pleased with the scar placement, even and as appealing as a scar could ever be. Boobs still looking brilliant. Tummy looking pretty damn good, except for the 3kg weight gain which I still haven't lost makes me look abit thick, regardless of my diligent diet practice and plenty of exercise. I have felt more hypothyroid since the op and had to up my thyroid glandular dose. It didn't seem to help much until recently I just tried this new product http://thyrovanz.com/ and have actually felt a lot better. So I'm happy to have found that, I feel like I may actually see a little bit of weight loss if I keep feeling this good.
You can still see I have the little pouchy bit at the scar line on the right side that will be removed at one year post op. Kind of wish it could be done earlier and want to ask if my hips could be streamlined a bit. I wonder if my weight gain has made it more noticeable. But it's a fairly minor issue really, I am looking so much better in clothes and shopping for clothes is no longer a nightmare. Hopefully when i next update I can tell you I have lost 3kg at least.
Life is really totally normal, I am right back up to full fitness & activity level (I was several mths ago), I cycle about 60kms a week and lift some free weights at home. Energy has been really good since changing to the new thyroid glandular too.
Nothing else to report :-)
Happy new year all !

Thank you :-) I am really pretty happy, just want that bit on the top of the scar line sorted and maybe a pinch on the hips and I will be 100% I think. But for the time being I really can't complain, I look a million times better than pre surgery. I am very happy :)

I understand I feel like I could have a pinch taken off at the hips as well. Did your. PS say it's possible? I haven't seen mine since my post op......

Still I love your abs and your BB. You look so great in bikini!

I am not due to see him until 1yr post but when I last spoke with him he said it was no problem to remove the extra bit on the front right side, he thought my hips were fine but I feel like they've got a bit worse since then, they're not technically dog ears though, just squarish & loose/squishy feeling and I can't wear a fitted dress with out it being noticeable where my undies cause a big dent in my soft fleshy hip. I feel the front is a bit worse than before too, sags forward further. So i really have to wonder if my skin has become more lax after the op, there are loads of stretch marks right in that front spot, although it was alittle like that right after the op too but just worse now. I am pretty certain a nip off the hips is possible. I am just thinking though that with the front bit and the hips I may have to pay something...I don't know, really depends whether it involves going back into theatre. I will ask when I see him. I do believe that these issues are not really entirely to do with the surgeon, I feel it has a bit to do with different body types, weight, skin quality etc. I've noticed it is very common to need a little touch up, particularly in these locations. I guess the art of this type of surgery is never totally exacting, like sewing a dress cut on the bias LoL. And I've noticed it really helps if a person is really quite slender to start with. I wouldn't say I was really slender, I am more solid and curvy with a fair bit of meat on my bones...which I literally am unable to shift no matter how hard I work (bar starving it off..and I don't want to do that of course :] )
The other thing I worry about is, I want to fix these little spot of irregularity BUT I actually love the placement of my scar and it's symmetry (it's almost perfect, only rises slightly on the right but not noticeable to anyone else) I just hope the touch ups will maintain my perfect scar. It's faded so nicely too. Oh well I am really rambling on now. haha.

Hellooooo my friend!! :) You look amazing!! My thyroid has been off too since the surgery. I think it also threw off my estrogen levels. I'm working on getting rid of the extra fluff too. We will get there! :)

Hi there! How are you doing?? I must do an update soon...it's hard to remember once life moves on. I have managed to lose about 3lbs and holding stable with effort. I feel better for it, just want to lose another 3-5lbs and I should be happy. I have changed my thyroid NDT to a new one called Thyrovanz and I am feeling really good now. What do you use? By the way do you take iodine or have you heard of the iodine protocol?
