4wks post op, post op appt, 1st run, update Mondors
Hello everyone! My mondors are much better this week! I can still see them but they are not bothering me like before. My ps said to keep taking the ibuprofen I take 1 aleeve 2x day.
My 4wk appt went great he still said just let them be and Told me I didnt need to do massages.
My scars are now ready for scar sheets they told me to wear them for 10hrs/day for 6 months or until I'm happy with how the scar looks.
I'm still really happy with my boobies its nice to not be on the it bitty [RS bleep] committee lol! They do still need to drop a bit and soften more. They have come a long way even though it seems like its been a slow process. I can squeeze them together for the first time this week.
My husband is not nearly as interested in them as I thought he'd be, I guess bc they are still in recovery??? I think he's intimidated even though he claims he's not. He is all about the nipples lol which are still sensitive.
I ran for the first time yesterday right around 2 miles and no problems at all. And i think im ready to do full body workout with modifications of course. It is uncomfortable to do abs most yoga stretches, and holding my 3 yr old.
The ps cleared me to do whatever and dont have to come back for 4 months!
I am posting a pic of the sports bra I used, bc of the mondors, underwire is still uncomfortable so this one has a a gel wire and kept the ladies intact!
I hope everyone is healing well and on their way to a great recovery! For those of you who are not yet on the other side hang in there and be patient I am so excited for you guys dont be nervous the surgery is TOTALLY worth it you will love it!
