You should contact your dentist to adjust the bite, If your teeth had root canal therapy, there is no reason to be sensitive at all.It seems like your bite is not correct & that needs to be addressed first.
Initial post-operative sensitivity, or more accurately tenderness, subsequent to root treatment is a common symptom. However, this should subside very quickly. Sensitivity or tenderness that persists or manifests a month later can be a sign that infection remains and the root canal treatment has not been totally successful. Premature contact on occlusion may be caused by residual infection raising the tooth from the socket in which it sits, the exact symptom you describe. Clicking can be caused by several factors, the main ones being a loose crown or, and possibly more worrying, a fractured tooth. The diagnosis may even be as simple as a high point on your bite/crown. As my colleague correctly says, you must revisit your surgeon for examination and x-ray to attain that definitive diagnosis that is crucial to the wellbeing of the tooth. Hope that helps.
