SculpSure for Love Handles

I've had my first of 2 treatments on my love handles, at Atlanta Face and Body. The staff and facility are wonderful, and made me feel at ease. However, I will say that this treatment is not easy! It begins with a cold blast, and then the machine warms up for 2 minutes or so, with intermittent cold blasts. During next phase, the machine heats up even more, with no cold blasts, for several minutes. The burning/stinging is pretty intense during this part. The final phase, which is the longest, is less intense heat with intermittent cold blasts. Each session lasts for 25 minutes. I listened to a podcast during most of the treatment, however, during the intense phase, I couldn't concentrate on anything but the pain. They will give you the option of turning down the intensity, but I figured I could suffer through a few minutes, to give the procedure the optimal chance of working.

I agree, this is quite uncomfortable experience - I almost couldn't handle the laser "contractions". Just bit my lip and tried to breathe through it.
Also, it was an expensive experiment. I've had no change in my "donut ring" or love handles. :-(

One week

It's now been one week since my first treatment. I didn't have much discomfort at all, directly following my treatment, but about 2 days after, I could feel intense bruising on both sides. No visible bruising, though. I had my husband gently massage both sides, for six minutes each day, for the first 5 days, to prevent lumps. Also, I'm only taking Tylenol for pain relief, because ibuprofen and naproxen sodium reduce swelling, which lessens the effectiveness of the procedure. Today is the first day that I'm feeling some relief from the bruising. I'll update again at 5 weeks, right before my second treatment.

Still not sure. I just had my second treatment yesterday, and I wore jeans to my appointment, which was dumb. I was so sore after! My hips don’t feel quite as bruised, this time, but everything else was the same. Posting a new pic from this morning. Will update again in another 6 weeks or so.
