42 yo female with previous micro Lopo at umbilical area- I had a pretty good abdomen with one trouble spot. After my consultation with Dr Fara , I thought I was in good trusting hands . I was very specific regarding concerns of not overdoing things , as I didn't have much fat on my abdomen. We discussed removing approximately 100-200 cc if needed in the right upper area of my abdome and no other areas to be revised . He suggested to use the cannula to tighten tissu just below my umbilicus- I was very clear that I did not want to take any chances in creating any "dimples or lumpiness" he assured my this would not cause any such problem. Well my results were awful!!! He removed 800cc and I almost panicked just hearing this, but the more I healed , the worse things were. I have been depressed now for almost 2 years . I went from being a very happy and healthy sexy feeling woman who reached out for a small touch up and now I won't wear a bikini or let my husband see my stomach bare. After multiple messages and questions to Dr Fara, he had no answer for me and I surely wouldn't let him touch me again with a surgical instrument ! I waited a while to post a review because I had just lost hope and didn't think it would matter, but if this saves one person agony then I figured I should write this -

I feel your pain. I went to a top rated doctor in NYC and ended up with A LOT of ripples and divots on my abdomen. I saw the irregularities day one when I peeked at my stomach. I was told not to worry and to wait until I'm healed. Well the hills and valleys only got worse over the last five years. I spent thousands of dollars only to be super disappointed. I would never have done this if I had known I would be lumpy and bumpy.
Could you let me know if you find a good revision specialist and end up with good results? I can't believe that I need to spend even more money on this.

I had the same thing happen. I didn't need lipo but wanted it on my love handles which I still didn't need but just something that had always bugged me. The doctor wouldn't do that little bit. I had to pay for the whole package. This was with Dr. Buchannan in Santa Barbara whom I do NOT recommend. I lived with a botched lipo for years and finally got a revision a year ago with a mini tt. I can't believe I waited that long to have my beautiful tummy back. The original left me with lumpy sagging skin. You also had a beautiful shape before. We obsess where we really shouldn't. A very mini tt and evening out the bumps may just put you back to where you started. They don't tell us what can happen with lipo. I was afraid to have the revision for fear of more lumps but he did a great job just addressing the lumps I hated. All the best to you.

Lipo in the tummy region always causes dimples. They don't tell us that. You can get it revised but you may have to get a mini tt with long scar to flatten it out. I had the revision lipo done 6 months after the mini and I couldn't believe how much better it looks! The lumps are gone.
