Ok so I tried Microneedling 3 sessions but seem like it made more holes in my face so no results and made things worst. I also tried profractional laser once but no results and now fractora but my scars are really deep so I know I need to get tca cross.

She was extremely nice and kind and I honestly think she was very caring and just want to provide great results. This is my second treatment just had it done a week and a half ago so just want to make sure I am making the right decision and not wasting money.

I'm just frustrated and need a resolution I have tried everything to no avail but just praying for a miracle treatment to work!!
Do not get more laser or you'll be really sorry . Do not needle or use retin a . Quit while you're ahead . I know you want to do something but sometimes the best thing to do , is notjinb . So many of us have been damaged by creams , lasers , needling etc . We were all better before it . I suggest you stop , getting cross tca is a big risk . Your skin is inflsmned from the needling . If you stop messing with it , the pores will get better . Get s very simple and gentle routine . You don't have to wash your face daily and don't use any actives . If you keep it up, your texture and pores will get worse . Look yo Ben Johnson md, he is a plastic surgeon that explains all this stuff ruins your skin as you experienced yourself with the needling . Your barrier is messed up . Don't exfoiliage either manually or chemically . Good luck
Ok you are so right I have stop all procedures but it does not seem like it’s getting better. Really feel bad for trying so hard but everything has made it worse. It’s very depressing for me.
Don’t listen to that unqualified nonsense. Just seek out competent dermatologists or plastic surgeons, which is easier said than done as you surely already know. Do your research! If a dermatologist tells you that pores are genetically predetermined and there’s nothing that can be done, walk out immediately. That is prima facie evidence of their incompetence. Look up dermatologist Dr. Davin Lim on YouTube and he has specific videos on how he treats large pores. He specializes in laser treatments and puts many dermatologists to shame. Dr. Lim provides an excellent synopsis of treatment options for large pores in his videos. I have some other issues to address first and then will be onto treatment for pores. I have a consultation scheduled for the Pico Genesis for melasma and it is also indicated for large pores/textural issues so you might want to look into that. Hope this helps!
please ignore everything your pores did not look worse at all i have same problem beleave me stop using treatment / creams and dont over wash your face .

you will get better results please stop everythink .

I have been working on my skin for a while now and...

I have been working on my skin for a while now and I finally cleared up my skin but have been left with acne scarring. I have large pores and acne scarring. I have had several chemical peels for treatment but seems like over the last two years my pores and scars have gotten bigger. I am now trying microneedling I did two sessions already just recently a week in a half ago my second session but it just seems like my pores are expanding. This has really caused a major depression for me because It was not this bad and I just really need some major advice. Just need to know what procedure is effective for my situation. Thanks so much

First of all, you poor thing. We are a race where 'looks' are a large part of a person's identity and any disfigurement or impairment really can dent one's confidence, even to the point of social-withdrawal and depression, or worse. Mild scarring can be camouflaged by make-up to a certain extent but deeper scarring will need proper surgical intervention, but I'm telling you what you probably already know. Ask your doctor to refer you to a Consultant Dermatologist to discuss the possibility of a surgical remedy to achieve that smoother skin surface you desire because there are treatments out there that do work. Hope that helps. Best wishes, RG
I want to help. I make a %100 naturel cream. It improve acne scars. https://www.facebook.com/hacamatvesuluktedavihttps://www.facebook.com/hacamatvesuluktedavi
Yes I know and she did tell me it is only so much you can do.

If you still have some acne and oily skin, Accutane could help first, but discuss with your dermatologist, and ask for second opinion. Stopping acne is essential. Along with this, tretinoin creme (0.05) could help in the long run, but test at first, then start twice weekly as it causes peeling and redness. Especially with accutane. Stay away from sun 100%. For me I think tretinoin smoothens skin (unfortunately I have rolling scars, so no much help there).
Accutane 10mg/day (very mild dose). If you peel from tretinoin dont scrab, that's why not use often. Consult your derm.
I Don't really break out just every now and then but I am on tretinoin 0.05 but had to calm down use be cause of heavy overuse. I'm thinking that's why my pores have expanded as well of misuse. I just started the treatment so I have to give it time but I think I am seeing a difference just have to wait.
limit tretinoin to once a week. if you feel its making your pores larger stop using it. don't want you to damage your skin. your dermatologist will incourage u to use it but look up damage to skin by these products and make your own decisions.
ask your dermatologist for a 5% bp cleanser. it will help with pore size but not completely get rid of them. use bp cleanser 2 to 3 times weekly not ever day
I also notice tretinoin doesnt help with pores, but I noticed improvement with mild scarring. But... this could be just due to passing of time. I actually noticed tretinoin doesn't peal my skin at all any more, but I switched the brand.
I think this brand of tretinoin doesn't dry skin, it stays oily, don't know if this is good or bad. Maybe my skin adapted...
Look up retin-a and damage , thsts exactly why your pores got worse. It's hard to come bsck from , only 2 peoole on that acne board had success and both said they did nothing for a year . Good luck
Hi, if you have oily skin a very effective use of Vitamin D3 dose of 10,000iu daily along with Zinc 15mg daily works similar to accutane but without all the complications. Its available from ebay or amazon and the prices are great, have a look into it and you will see how just how this simple method works as it has really helped dry up my skin of the excessive oil/sebum for low cost. Good luck.
Oh ok thanks I just tried it today will keep you updated but I can already see things changing.
Your skin doesn't look bad so im sure the derma roller or derma pen should even out your texture well leaving you with pretty smooth skin going by the picture.
