All I can say is......"Dr Jones and his staff are the best"!!!! Unlike most plastic surgeons, Dr Jones is double board certified which is the main reason I chose him for my surgery. Having someone who is certified in more than just PS was key for me because of my health issues. Having had two Pulmonary Emboli(blood clots in the lungs), I knew that I would be a very high risk patient and Dr Jones understood that. During my consult, we discussed all of the possible complications, my health Hx as well as what was needed from my hematologist for surgical clearance. Once everything was completed, I was set for my procedure. I am now 20 days PO and doing wonderful! My recovery has been fairly easy. I would highly recommend having someone with you the first 2 weeks post op; if possible. My 1st FU appt was less than a week following surgery. One of my drains was removed and all of my bandages were removed during this visit. The sterile strips were left. I was able to begin showering! My wound is healing very nicely; no dog ears, no seroma! During my follow up appointment 6/13/17, I had a little drainage coming from an area of my incision that I was concerned about. Dr Jones chose to put a couple of sutures in the area that was draining as well as do a belly button "revision" while I was there????. He is definitely a perfectionist and I could not ask for more. I ?? my PS and his office staff are beyond pleasant and helpful. Dr Jones, I want to thank you for your prayers; prior, during and after surgery as well as your beautiful spirit.
