Spitting a stitch

I had a small area that was irritated on my incision line. I finally saw a little string and pulled it. It didn't budge, but it made the are bleed a little bit. I decided just to clean it and keep scar strips on it. 3 days later I pulled it again and the Stitch came out easily with no pain. Hoping this area will fully heal now and I won't spit any more stitches.
6 weeks PO tomorrow. I see the PS on Monday and hoping to get a better idea of how much swelling he thinks I still have. I don't know how to tell what is swollen and what isn't on the Lower belly area .
I am feeling great and back to myself. I wear some kind of compression all the time. My binder when I walk and sleep sometimes. I can't wait for 8 weeks when I can begin to run again.

Wow! Haven't been on in a while and then I see how awesome you look. Crazy about the stitch. Kinda cool though you just pulled it out.

I am feeling really good. Just trying to be patient for final results. Have definite swelling during the evening. This week was my 1st week back at work. All my pants are at least one size too big. I love my results I am just impatient to be able to enjoy them fully- no binder, no swelling, full exercise. I just keep reminding myself short term pain for long term gain

Brave- wow you look flippin amazing even with swelling... We did it girl and imagine how we are going to feel this summer... Whooohooo..

Yay!! You look amazing. I am so glad you are enjoying your results. I went shopping this weekend and had to retrain myself to look at the smaller sizes. So fun. Can't wait for the spring and summer to get here.
