I am completely and totally overjoyed with my results and it has only been two weeks since the procedure. Dr. Crispin and the entire team I worked with were incredibly helpful, kind, genuine and had great bedside manner. Right now I am still swollen and a little bruised, but even at this point I cannot believe how much they were able to remove, how contoured I am and how much happier and more confident I feel. I really could not recommend Dr. Crispin more highly. He has done incredible work that has profoundly changed my life.

I don't have before pictures--I couldn't even handle looking at myself before. The after picture is just a couple days after the surgery. I'll take and post more over the next 6 months.

How long were you in a lot of pain?
July 16, 2016
Hey, I have had some predictable discomfort, but for the most part the greatest pain has been running out of Netflix series' to watch while I recover ;) I've been surprised at how quickly I was able to move around.

Are you able to stand up straight? Are you back working again?
July 16, 2016
Yeah, I can stand up, move around...Tonight I went out for dinner and I am leaving on Sunday to go take care of my grandson. To be honest, I should be taking it easy still but life calls. It's a bit uncomfortable but totally doable.

That's great!!! I will have off just two weeks also. Did you have any before pics?
July 17, 2016
I actually don't, but Dr. Crispin's office took some. I'll ask to see them when I go back in two weeks, take pictures of them or get copies and post them. Good luck!

Thank you!!!

Hey, wanted to give you a quick update. I had been able to get around but I overdid it taking care of my grandson. I have developed a seroma, which I have been told is pretty common and not terribly concerning--just really a drag. My belly is all fluid filled and when I poke it, it looks like a waterbed (!) Also, I am in DC and away from Dr. Crispin's office because I have a family situation that needs me and I can't make it back until the 30th. I am going in to see a local surgeon in DC on Tuesday to basically have the fluid removed. I will let you know how it goes. Dr. Crispin's office has been very helpful and kind through all of this and I look forward to seeing them when I get back. My advice would be to take it as easy as you possibly can for a good while. I could have returned to office work or something low-key like that, but chase after a 7-month-old, though unavoidable, was not the best for my recovery.

It sounds like overall you are doing pretty good! You will have to keep me updated on the seroma. I know one of my biggest fears is having it done spending all the money and not being happy.
July 24, 2016
I totally understand and relate. Since I saw such great results before the Seroma, I feel extremely happy about the results. I think once it heals, it will go back to how it was an over this next six months it will get even better. I've heard that most people are happy with their results and Dr. Crispin is really experienced. If you go in for a consultation, they will do a good job of letting you know what the reasonable expectations are. I would start there. I'll also post pictures later

Seroma

AndreaInAtlanta
I know it doesn't look good right now. I developed a seroma after week 2, had it drained today and on the path to healing. Taking it easy but feeling great. Seriously swollen, but I know it will go down again.
