Big Setback

My revisions finally got here a few days ago. Unfortunately, I’ve had my aligners out for about a week straight. I found out I’m pregnant and morning (noon, and night) sickness has kicked in. I’ve been literally grazing all day every day to try to keep the nausea at bay. My teeth have shifted so much it seems like I’ll be going back to the beginning of the month and starting from there. Hopefully I can find the bottom aligner if I need it because I only know where the top is. The plan for now is to wear them at least at night until I feel well enough to keep them in consistently for the whole week I need to wear them and then switch to week 2 and go from there. I’m really gonna try to keep them in because I don’t want to have to deal with this too long into the pregnancy. This was a monkey wrench I never even contemplated, but it’s a good thing. Maybe my teeth will end up tracking how they were supposed to originally and I won’t need to use the refinements lol. Wishful thinking, but hey. For now, back to MCC M2W1 I go.

Quick Update

So as a quick update. I probably received my new 3D plan the same day I went to get the scan. I hadn’t checked it until early in the morning the next day. However, I’m so unhappy with how my top teeth will turn out. I chatted with them to see if they can revise it because they will be pushing my top teeth out to meet the 2 front teeth and slanting the front teeth out instead of pulling them in to be in line with the others. So my teeth will be flaring out on the top. The bottom teeth look like they will be fine. The dental assistant or whoever, told me that that’s what’s necessary in order for my teeth to be in a “perfect U shape” and for my bottom teeth to not hit against my top teeth. I asked if we could just do the bottom teeth and leave the top teeth alone then and I was told no. I guess we will see what happens. I have a feeling this process will be longer than it needs to be. I just want the results of the first plan with my bottom teeth straight... I’m waiting on the aligners to get here. I’m back to the Welcome To The Club message on my dashboard. It says it’ll take 4-5 weeks to get here. We’re 2 weeks in already, so another 2-3 weeks they should be here. Hopefully MCC M2W3/4 will hold up until then.

Scan Pic

I forgot to include this pic with the last update. This is from the scan.
