Office review - American Lipo Centers (Atlanta Location) Atlanta, GA

I was scheduled for a consult today at American Lipo Center, Atlanta location. My appointment was for 1:15 today. I arrived at 1:00., the door was locked. I stood there thinking about they have lunch from 12-1 and I am. A few minutes early, so I waited for a few minutes. Shortly after, a young came and pulled the door and I told her it was locked. She stated that she was there earlier today for a consult but the person that was supposed to do the consult was drunk. I thought I heard her incorrectly, so I asked her to repeat what she said. She stated that her and several other potential clients were there eariler and the person there was drunk and she said they were told that someone else would come to complete the consult. I was in shock and couldn't,t believe it. As we are talking, the "drunk" employee walks up. It was apparent that she was under the influence, she smelled of alcohol and was slurring words and could barely stand straight. The other potential client was on the phone with someone from another location and she gave the phone to the drunk employee. The client then asked if she was going to let us in and she is just standing there looking stupid. She then tries to find the keys, which was unsuccessful, the potential client asked her if she left them in the bathroom, which she checked and the keys were not there. By this time, I received a call from someone at American Lipo stating that there was an emergency at the office and my appt would need to be rescheduled. I informed her I was there and I see the emergency, your employee is drunk!!!!!! She apologized and I asked when I wanted to reschedule for. How about the day after never!!!! I was appalled. I could. To believe what I witnessed today. I have never experienced anything like that before. The same rep called me again to apologize stating that the person there was not a nurse, she was front office and she was helping out because the nurse that does the consults was having car trouble. That makes this even worse. Why and how is the front office staff qualified to do a consult for cosmetic surgery? Why was my appointment not canceled earlier, when the were first informed that the employee was drunk, not at the time my appointment was for. Totally unprofessional. I will never go back there. I was looking forward to meeting Dr. Myla Bennett, but as long as she is there I unfortuntately will not get the chance.
