4 week update.
So I’m trying not to be down because I’ve read about the butt shrinking around this time & then plumping back up. The measurements look the same as a couple weeks ago, but it’s noticeably smaller especially in my clothes. I’m honestly thinking about a round 2 in about 6 months if I don’t end up with the projection I want. Also, I’m posting some pics of my tummy tuck incision. Does anyone else have these irregularities? In some parts, it’s above my bikini line. I usually scar very well, so I’m hoping that it’ll fade a good deal with some more time. My lower back is still pretty numb & tingly, but other than that I feel great. I’m gonna take some booty pics around the 6 week mark & hope it’s plumped up some by then!!
3 week update.
So a lot has happened in 3 short weeks. It feels like forever since I’ve had the surgery though! Lol. I’ve gone down 2 faja sizes. I started in a 3XL post surgery & im down to a XL now. I’ll probably be going to a L within a week or two. One thing I’ve done with them as soon as they arrive is wash them & stretch the booty part out because they’ve all been really restrictive on my butt & I don’t like that. It took me a while to get used to using the curves cushion, and I still don’t like sitting on it for long periods of time. I tried lying on my back last night to sleep, and that’s still not happening. It feels like a strong tingling sensation all over my back & butt, but I’m sure it’s just nerve pain. Other than that, I have absolutely no pain or discomfort. Finding a massage therapist with experience in post cosmetic surgery massage in the Charlotte area has been EXTREMELY difficult. The last woman I went to argued with me the entire time about how she should be doing the massage. I think I’m going to stick to just having my husband do them from now on. I still have some lumps on my lower back & sides that are tender, but I’ve been reassured that they will go away with time. I don’t think my waist has ever been this tiny in my adult life. My last measurements for my waist was 30 with my booty at a 46! I absolutely LOVE my curves! This surgery has given me so much more confidence. I enjoy shopping now & going out. It was totally worth it! :) I will try to upload some new photos soon!
Back home
So I came home to Charlotte today after my stay in ATL. Since yesterday, I’ve been basically pain free. I am pretty stiff in the mornings, but it’s nothing that’s not manageable with a couple Tylenol. I am noticing some new lumpy areas on my stomachs and flanks in the liposuctioned areas even though I’ve been getting the massages. I was told that this is normal, but it feels odd. They’re tender & numb at the same time if that makes sense? Anyway, im super happy with my results thus far! I’m just patiently waiting on this swelling to go down & hoping most of the fat stays! I was told he injected 1000ccs into each cheek and 400cc into each hip.
Provider Review
Dr. Jimerson and his ENTIRE staff are above & beyond what I could’ve hoped for. Every single person I came in contact with was super friendly, helpful & made me feel so comfortable. I’m still very early in the post op period, but I’m loving my results so far. I have recommended Dr. J to a few close friends already and will continue to do so. I’m sure I will return in the future! :)
