Hi ladies! I’ve enjoyed reading some of your journies & tips for pre-op and post op recoveries. I’m a mommy of 3, done having kids & ready to get my body back! As of right now, I’m 5’6 197 lbs, BMI of 30. My surgery is June 29th and I’m hoping to lose 10-15 more lbs by then. I’m getting a tummy tuck & a BBL. I’ve seen some BEAUTIFUL transformations from Dr J & I’m hoping to be next! ???? I’m going to order everything I need to pack this Friday & get started on my bag! I’m coming from NC so I’m expecting to stay 7-10 days at a hotel close by. Looking forward to sharing my journey with y’all!

8 days away!!

Hi ladies,
I’m getting SOOO nervous! I’m officially 8 days away from my surgery date! I have enjoyed so many of yalls updates. They keep me motivated & keep me from wanting to back out bc of these nerves! I haven’t been able to lose the 10-15 lbs that I wanted to before surgery..I’ve lost maybe 4-5 so I’m hoping my results will still be good. I’m not expecting perfection bc I know I haven’t totally done my part. I’m already thinking that I may go back in a couple years for a little more Lipo (I’m sure I’ll hit the max this time) and maybe some touch up on my BBL, if needed. I’ve seen AMAZING results when people have gone in for a second round. But right now, I’m just trying to keep myself calm & relaxed so my blood pressure isn’t sky high when I get there! ????????????

I had my procedure a day before yours wow and I stayed at the Hyatt after I stayed in a recovery home I checked in on July 3rd to July 7th and then stayed at the Sonseta unfortunately I read a couple you ladies post that had your surgery around the same time as mines and my experience wasn't the best I ended up in the hospital when I got home I had a hematoma removed at Dr j office and I went with local anesthesia and never in my life will I ever do that again I was in horror pain for 6 days and had fevers every night the initial procedure wasn't that bad it was when I had the hematoma that set me back in almost 4 weeks preop and I'm doing a bit better I'm able to walk better and I'm not bleeding as I was a whole lot however I'm still treating for a wound out of nowhere a tiny hole delevoped near my incision and it's been draining fluid but not a whole lot I just hope it goes away soon I posted a pic of it on my profile

Leaving for ATL tomorrow!!

So I’m leaving after work tomorrow to head to Atlanta. It’s about 3 hours from Charlotte. My mom is coming with me & we plan on staying for 8 days postop. I got a call from Dr J’s office today that they have a new policy that requires an overnight stay for combination procedures. I can see the pros & cons in this, but it makes me a little sad that my mom can’t stay overnight with me as visiting hours end at 7 pm. I have everything packed & ready to leave tomorrow. I definitely have the pre surgery nerves now. I’ve been fine up until this evening & now I’m second guessing myself. I’m going to post a couple before pictures if I can. I’m super nervous about the pain. I don’t want to seem like a big baby when I stay overnight. ???? any advice on sleeping positions would be helpful. I’m thinking on my back with lots of pillows behind me and under my thighs will work best for me but I’m not 100% sure.

You can’t sleep on your back due to the BBL. You will have to sleep on your stomach or sides (very carefully)!

Thank you. I was scared to be on my stomach after the tummy tuck but it’d actually pretty comfortable. The pain isn’t half as bad as I thought (so far). I just get very dizzy and nauseous if I’m standing for too long.
