Today is day 17 PO. I feel better, but the muscle on the left side of my abdomen keeps cramping and sometime in my boob too...as strange as that is. I can't get off of the muscle relaxers. However, I am off pain meds except sometimes Tylonal. I am more swollen today than usual. I know in the end all will be well.

As each day got closer to the date I was nervous and excited. My friends and family were so supportive. I am a single mom of 7 yo twins and my ex kept kids for the first week. Prob need longer, but I missed them and they have been a big help. I had friends help me around the clock for the first 4 days. I am not one who likes to ask for help, so that was hard. Friends and neighbors called and stopped by for help and support. I needed it as some days were extremely emotional and lots of crying. I am now 16 days PO and each day gets easier. I still have some pain, but it comes and goes.
At this point I just want my normal life back and really don't expect it for another few weeks....at least. I had a tt and ba. I LOVE the results...flatter tummy and I don't think my boobs have ever been this perky. :o). Of course guy friends want to "judge" the results for themselves. Some things that helped me prepare were making a spreadsheet of meds so friends and myself could mark when they were taken, so not to over or under medicate myself. I bought lots of yoga pants and a few bras w/o underwires. I precooked lots of meals for me and my caretakers and put them in the freezer. I bought some of comfort food (junk) to make me feel better when I really needed it. Some other random things to note...sharp pains in boobs occasionally, very itchy the first few days, peed every two hours for the first two days and occasional nausea (I think I didn't ear before taking meds). I am so glad I did this, but am want the recovery to speed up. I hate not being able to take care of my kids like I normally do. Best of luck to everyone. I am happy to answer questions about my experience. I am an open book.

My PA is awesome. She was full of support and understanding. I had CO2 laser on my face, facial fillers and botox done by her. Love her!
