I also had a mommy makeover with dr Fara on march 19 , 2015. Love 80 percent of the result except I have a lot of swelling on lower belly. I did develop a small hematoma on my upper he drained it and said it should dissolve by itself. Are you still swollen ? You look great by the way . Thanks for sharing .
I still get some swelling on my lower abdomen usually at the end of the day. I make sure I wrap myself with the ace wrap and binder and it usually goes away. I had a little bit of fluid collection after the drains were removed and dr Fara tried to drain it but nothing came out. He suggested I wrap myself as tight as I could and it resolved on its own.
Losing 6" is INCREDIBLE!!! Congrats!!

Thanks! I liked his before and after pictures. I went to 3 other surgeons and none of them were really giving me what I wanted. I wanted to get a feminine curvy look instead of just cutting off the extra belly and getting a boxy look. He is also very easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable. Hope this helps.

Drains out!!

My drains and pain pump finally came out and let me tell you it was not fun!! I was ok with the pain pump but when it came time to remove the drains I literally almost past out. I felt a sudden drop of my blood pressure and a cold sweat. I had to sit down for a few minutes to avoid passing out. I don't know what happened when he removed the drains that shocked my body. I was fine after about five minutes but I have to admit that it scared me a little bit. Glad that's over. I feel a little more normal now that they are gone, just gotta make sure that they heal properly.
