39 M, Stubborn Spots to Get Rid of in Abs, Flanks, Maybe Chest. Lipo Research in Atlanta

I'm getting closer to deciding who I'll go with for my lipo procedure and I hope to find a house, close then I can set a surgery date in late fall or winter - I would hate to wear compression garments in the South while it's still 90! I've been on several consults so far and have a few more planned.

I've begun a more concentrated workout/diet regimen and am putting some updates on here to gauge progress. I want to be in better shape before my lipo and my goal is for it to be a turning point in staying in the best condition I can be in - I see a lot that people still gain weight after lipo if they resort to bad habits. Getting in shape was much easier when I was 18! Getting older sucks!

Hi everyone, I've just started my research here on...

Hi everyone, I've just started my research here on RealSelf recently and have gone to 5 consultations so far. I've looked at bunches of before and after photos and have decided it's a matter of when, not if, I will get this done. I know it will be the micro cannula lipo procedure. I have the typical areas that are stubborn -- the fat won't go away as easily now that I'm past my mid 30's. After 5 knee operations, I can't do the hard cardio like I used to. I've read that we have a finite # of fat cells and that lipo isn't meant for weight loss, but simply for fat cell lysis. My BMI is 25, I'm 6'2" and I want the lipo on my upper/lower abs, flanks, and back. I want to get a good combo of personality fit with my surgeon, questions and concerns properly addressed as well as competitive pricing. I will post more as I make my decision. It won't be rushed; I'm house shopping. I will put half down and finance the rest, so adding new debt won't happen until after I close. If anyone has questions, fee free to private message me.
