Looks great and the scar has healed so nicely!
How much was your procedure? What was the measurement between your nose and lip prior to surgery and what is the measurement after surgery?
Adele, I saw the surgeon has a special of 1,500 running for this on Real Self. I want to have it done. This doc is amazing!
She looks beautiful!!
Just updated in my profile, CountryGirlYeeHaw is correct, $1500, plus prescription meds.
Thank you so much!
Thank you!
Hello, I know I'm a few years late, but I love your results and the cost is very reasonable. Do you remember what his facility fees were?
Thank you, I am very pleased with how everything came out!
You look great! It's amazing how removing a few millimeters of skin make a face look more feminine.
Very nice, very natural.

What did your lip measure before the procedure and what does it measure now? You look lovely.
Thanks! See my response to this same question from BecomingStronger above. I detailed my measurements before & immediately after surgery and today.
How is your scar now? You lips look wonderful and very natural
Thank you! I think that my scar is healing extremely well. I'm just over 6 months from my surgery, so it's still flattening out , but I don't have any redness or obvious swelling anywhere. The scar area just inside my nostrils still has a small bit of raised tissue inside of it, but it's minimal & continuing to improve as time goes on. Overall, I'd say the scar is practically invisible to anyone but me (and I only notice it when I'm looking in my magnified make up mirror).

I am unlucky enough to have inherited a lip shape...

I am unlucky enough to have inherited a lip shape that has caused my upper lip to practically disappear as I've aged. This year, at 45 years old, I decided enough was enough and began to look into options. I just wanted a natural, conservative change that didn't make me look as if I'd had "work" done. I did some checking around, and after a couple of failed consultations with others came across Dr. Morgan. From the first moment I arrived at her office for my consultation I had a great feeling. She takes her time with your appointment, really listens and takes great care to measure and explain what you can expect from the procedure and completely puts you at ease. I knew that she understood my goal for the procedure, and I immediately knew I didn't need to look further & booked my appointment for the surgery. I also asked her to remove two flesh colored moles on my face that my dermatologist would not touch (due to fear of causing a scar), and she did not hesitate to provide me with advice on how she could do exactly what I wanted with minimal/no scarring.

I am a bit of a difficult case because I take a blood thinner because of several clotting disorders. I had to discontinue my medication for a week before having the surgery, and Dr. Morgan took great care to make sure that I was able to start my medication again a day after surgery. Despite the fact that I normally bruise extremely easy, I experienced very minimal bruising as a result of the surgery. She was so careful, and her instructions for my recovery were so good that I only needed a "frozen pea" ice pack as my pain relief and swelling reduction. I never took the first pain pill, which was quite an unexpected (and welcome) surprise! My surgery was on a Thursday and I was back at work the following Wednesday with nothing but a small bandage over the stitches. All stitches out after a week and I was able to put on make up and no one even noticed.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Morgan and her wonderful staff. They are professionals in every sense of the word. If ever I decide to have any other cosmetic procedures done, you can bet Dr. Morgan will be the only person I will go to.

I am following her. Her work is amazing! Wanted a lip lift too but read today she said, Veneers before lift. Ugh....gotta get me dental A.S.A.P,
I can understand why after having seen her, part of her measurements are based on the size & shape of your teeth. She's very careful not to leave you with too much "gum" showing in a full smile.
Can you post any pictures? Love to see your results.
Yes, will do so in just a sec. Yesterday when I was submitting the review it wouldn't let me submit with the attachments.
looks great!
Thank you! :)
You look great! 10 years younger too. I like how well your incision healed.
Looks good. Would love to know your upper lip measurement before and after.
Before my upper lift was 2.3 cm in the center & laterally. Dr Morgan removed .45 cm in the center & .50 cm laterally. My measurements were the same right after surgery as they are today, 1.85 in center & 1.8 laterally. Hope that helps!
Are you happy with 1.85? Would you consider doing this again to get a shorter upper lip or would you consider that unnecessary?
I am very happy & wouldn't have wanted to go shorter. If I had, I'd show far too much gum in a full smile. You can see from one of my pics (the 6 weeks post) that any shorter would have, in my opinion, made for a very unnatural wide smile. It's all about your personal goal for the procedure, though. I wanted mine to look very natural, many people like a more dramatic look. Just personal preference, I think...
Sorry, typo - see the 4 weeks post surgery pic (not 6).
