Went for consult with dr Crispin on April 3rd. Loved him after going to 3 other doctors. And also considered smart lipo. But quickly determined that tummy tuck was going to have better results for what I wanted. So had it done yesterday. April 18th. Was very nervous but insisted I would be fine. After obsessing with tummy tucks for months I decided to do it and it was time. Process went smooth he does surgery out of 2 different outpatient centers in Atlanta. You pay them directly for surgery time in operating room and anesthia. And you pay Crispin office separate for surgery cost.

He squeezed me in even though he was going on vacation. He tried his best to fit me. So thankful for that because I already had this time off from work. Thanks a bunch.

Ok. So I am 4 days po. And I feel great. No more pain meds needed. Walking up and down the stairs. And driving. Feel great. Just little discomforts like my lower back hurt a lot from not being able to stand straight up as yet. Also the drain entry sites are pretty annoying. But otherwise feeling great. Think the first 4 days are tough but encourage lots of walking and sitting but not too much of either. After day 4 it's pretty much alright. Nothing difficult.

Also I am a 26 yr old mother of 3. 6, 2 and 3 months. Took a lot of courage for me to do this with an infant. But I had very supportive family. My husband. Mother and aunt all helped me a great deal. Definitely need a support system if you have little ones.

Well it's pod 12. Feeling great. Standing straight. Went to one week post op. dr said I was healing great. Otherwise. Can't wait to start working out also looking forward to belly button healing. I do stay busy around the house with kiddos but doesn't bother me much. Scar is healing pretty nicely. Itches a little. Got my drains taken out at 7 dpo. Was very excited about that.
