At a general consultation, Dr. Maloney pointed out that I most likely have dry eyes due to the droop of my lower lids. I had never thought about this, but I was only able to wear my contacts for about three hours per day. After the procedure I am able to wear them as long as I would like.-- 7 AM till midnight. I could not get over the appearance when he showed me how just a little lift of the lower lids would make for a more youthful appearance. I am so glad he pointed this out !

I am blown away! You look absolutely stunning!!! I am 46 and scheduled for a mini face/neck lift and fat transfer to correct under eye hollowness 2 weeks from tomorrow. I am seriously considering to go ahead and add the cO2, kick myself while I'm already down, right? But I am so scared of feeling like a burn victim. Is that how it really feels?

Thank you so much for the sweetest compliments!!!! Yes, I had just a few days of feeling slightly sick with the burns. I would say make sure you have a companion to help you on these few days!! I've read a lot of nerve wrecking reviews, but I am glad I did the procedure. Please read the others-- I know you have.! I gather the scariest thing is Stay out of the sun!! I purchased a great product made by a surfer in CA Saw it on Amazon-- " Zinka" It's the total block out zinc oxide but made in a color that matches my skin, so it's not that bright white. I wear it almost always around the house , yard, street, exercising, etc.
I did have an extensive treatment plan performed-- It all worked out, and Dr. Maloney is to thank! ( and staff)

ok, so a few days and I can face the world, sort of? You are so sweet to take the time! Are you sure that you are 58? :)
Amazing.

lol....hey, a few days and you don't think you're going to die! One week you can face the world.--hee hee.... Yes, I am 58. I had my first facelift and a scary brow lift at 44, then a mini facelift around 50 or 51, then the major overhaul again at 58. I guess you can say I've gone in steps. My husband is a dentist, so he has always made me feel that it's medically pretty safe, since I am healthy. He has his second re-birthday tomorrow after a life saving stem cell transplant for leukemia. That two years of uncertainty, and handling life alone, paid a serious toll on me! It aged me so, but he lived !!!!! I hope your Dreams come true! Everything is possible #PossibleDream :)

I say I feel that I went in to some crazy state and endured.....everyone is different though, I know from having a daughter. Yes, I had to spray my face like six times a day and add the Aquaphor. It wasnt pleasant, I'm sure you will be offered various medications.

Time to rejoice tomorrow! Many blessings to you and your Husband.
Pre op visit set for tomorrow, I will make final decision then depending on what pricing I am offered to tag this on. Your journey inspired me, I did my own review and posted my before pics and my story. Wanted to pay forward to all of the ladies like yourself, that have shared such valuable information to so many of us that have stayed behind the scenes anxiously awaiting on updates and thoughts from the community before taking the plunge. My post should be up within a day and I will be sure to keep you posted.

Did you have a hard palate graft for the lower lid?

I'm sorry, but I do not know what type. It was a simple, small, nip, I can tell you that much. I had many procedures performed at one time. This was the easy one.
